Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Durant

I usually don't give a bad review or ever had a bad experience here before, but this location can do so so much better. Every time that I've been here the last couple of months, I've had to wait over an hour to get anyone over the intercom to take my order, it was bad to where we tried going to another booth because we thought it was just a broken intercom , same problem. It was not a busy night. We sat at the intercom near the entrance we can see some of the workers play around and just walking back and forth in the front of the store. So we just left.

The month prior I have gotten food poisoning from the chili dogs, I knew it was the chili digs because it was all that was coming up and was the only fast food I had that day.

This last time, a few days ago... that I went it didn't take long but completely felt rushed getting my order from them when it wasn't a busy hour and then proceed to get the...

Update:2/24..got milk shakes, and sundaes for the kiddos,fast service.....UPDATE: 12/4/22 (This place should shut down...or just make drinks and snacks...the 2 burgers I just ordered were so overcooked...it was like eating leather, it's ridiculous..please act like you respect your customers by serving fresh cooked food like in the past..if not,then just shut down.Prices are way up, then make it worth the customers time.) Ordered on the app... Got there brought my food.. chk the bag.. cause well. Ya just have to now.. everywhere you go.. no fries.. I let them know... Said they would be right out.. still waiting 20 mins later.. had to remind them again..so much for the convenience of the app.10/20/24.. drinks are still good, the food menu is so basic.. and prices are way to high, not just here,...

I ordered one meal with a 44oz drink and a pretzel twist. Before I could ask for sauce the person taking my order asked if I wanted anything else. Before I could answer she shut off the intercom. I didn't have time to review my order before the screen switched over to the payment. I went ahead and paid with my card. When the carhop arrived I told her I didn't have a chance to order sauce. She handed me my meal, one 44oz drink and one 32oz drink. I told her when she got back from getting my sauce that my order was incorrect and she responded with, "Well we're really shortstaffed and busy." and walked away.
