Taco Casa — Restaurant in Durant

I have visited at least 8 diferent taco casa locations and the food is great they really are generous in taco filling and cheese. How ever I am sad to report that this location at 324 n 1st ave in durant is by far the worst I ordered a couple of tacos and a super nacho. First the taco shells were so incredibly stale I wound up eating half of one before dumping out the contents and just eat the filling. My super nacho was soggy. Yeah I know they put lots of cheese and it will get soggy eventually but mine were bad I think they scraped the tomatoes off the bottom of the batch and dumped it on top water and all over my chips. They were so soggy many just fell apart. I think the sour cream was old or maybe was kept too hot because it was lumpy not smooth and made the texture worse. The water in my bowl made a pool at the bottom and mixed in with the cheese to made a cheese soup that ran on the bottom. Ok so I'm a pig yeah I ate it. Put my piggy snout right in and consumed it and yes i regreted it. This things cost too much to be made like that and I have had several this one was just poorly made.The place was filthy.and it looked like children had been eating on the table and food was smeared on the table and bench. No one seemed to care; much of the store was like this. I cleaned it my self but did not like it much. Lots of tables had trash and yes I know casa cleans customer trash they all do this and it's nice, but seriously if you are just going to let it pile up a can out on the floor I'll clean my own mess I don't want to be cleaning after others.there were at least 4 trays of old food on the counter near where you order like some one just started piling them up on the counter. Yeah trays full of garbage I really should have listened to that voice inside and went to the other casa in durant right then and there..my mistake won't let that happen again.Was it all bad? No the tacos had plenty of cheese and the sweet tea was good as it always is at every location I have been to and I am picky about that so great job casa on those things but this is a package deal so fix your issues or give it to some...

The only reason they are getting 2 stars is because they got my order correct, I really like Taco Casa’s food and love their sweet tea.The one thing I cannot stand is being lied to. This evening I tried to order a gallon of sweet tea with my order and the lady at the drive thru said they were out of the bags to make gallon teas. Normally I would just say ok and cut my losses, but a couple of months ago this happened and my husband called up to the store to see if they had gallon sweet teas after I got home and they said “yes, of course.” So today I had a passenger with me when I went through the drive thru and was told they were out of the bags to make gallons. While I was waiting for my food, I sent my passenger inside the store to try to order a gallon of sweet tea. She came back out to my car before my food order was ready with a gallon of Taco Casa sweet tea in hand. Taco Casa don’t lie to your customers!!! Worst experience ever with Taco Casa on 1st street in Durant. As we pull up to the speaker box the girl asks us to take our order and I state all I need are two cups of cheese sauce. She tells me to hang on just a second. So I wait about three minutes and I say " hello and the lady replies "welcome to Taco Casa may I take your order" as i reply with "i just ordered cheese sauce can i pull forward?" She then giggles and says "oh yeah". As I pull up to the window I notice about 8 employees working with a lobby of about 7 people max. We then proceed to wait about another 10 minutes. While we are waiting we observe the girl who takes the order sitting by the register playing on her phone and two people who don't work there behind the counter and not in uniform. My wife eventually has to call Taco Casa to inform them that we have been waiting for over 10 minutes for two cups of cheese sauce before they bring them to us!!!
