Maybe it's me. But I don't understand the reviews of this place. I LOVE a good dive bar but this place had multiple single older men staring me down from their tables. There was a sugar daddy/escort thing happening at a table behind us. Drinks were't great. Wasn't well kept up, and not in a good way. Kinda made me think of a illegal basement gambling vibe. Stopped in for a visit when I was in Durham and had an awesome time. Couldn't ask for a better staff. Had a different selection of beer on hand but bartender recommend I try a few different ones to find my liking. He did an amazing job. I believe his name was roger. Visited a few different bars around that area and nobody made me feel more at home then them. Made me feel like I was at my home town bar "uncle Bums". This place is pretty dope. Laid back vibes, kind of “hippie” to me but it was great. They have cat head honeysuckle vodka which a lot of places I go don’t and I LOVE that. The bartenders were great and the prices were very reasonable. I love that they have signature seasonal specialty drinks, that were banging btw! Only complaint was that it had like a basement smell and the bathrooms weren’t well kept the night we went. I still recommend if in Durham try this little down...
