When I pulled up in the drive-thru and ordered my food, I asked for a senior discount. When the girl came back on the speaker to give me my total, she was laughing, so that told me that she was talking about me to her colleagues. When I got to the window, I said "good morning" to the girl as she was handing me my drinks and didn't say anything. As she handed me my bags, I said "have a great day". She kind of said something to the effect of a grunt. Since the drive-thru is not far from the road, I pulled into the road and checked my bags. It was then that I realized that I was missing my two cinnamon twists with extra icing. I had to drive around the block and pull back in. I went inside this time. I told the girl at the register that I just came through the drive-thru and was missing my item. The girl who gave me my food came to the counter, listened, didn't say anything, and then walked away. The girl at the inside register prepared the cinnamon twists and another girl put them in a bag. I said "thank you" and she said, "um huh"...no sorry about that or you have a good day...nothing! Most of the people behind that counter act like they do not want to work. If you do not want to work, quit. I understand that your company is probably having trouble hiring employees, like my job is and like most company's in the country; however, company's owe it to their patrons to employee honest, upbeat employees to serve the community. The manager was standing right behind the girl in the drive-thru window (with her back to them of course), but if the employees are willing to laugh at customers in front of their manager, what do you think they are willing to do in their manager's absence?
Not to mention, the french fries were cold and hard. If someone orders food that is meant to be fresh, it needs to be served that way. No telling how long those fries were...
Read moreI’m writing this in the parking lot right after I finished my meal that I gave them time to prepare fully fresh.
I used to eat at this location 3 times a day and became 284 because of it. I worked on those same fryers at one point, and lived up the street from here from he age of 12-22. I live in NYC now, and have had someone bring me Bojangles before, so I say this with passion and all my heart oooonly after not having Bojangles for 6 months, coming here to pay more money for hard and cold fries and tenders, and theeeen coming back before I leave and asking for my food to be MADE FRESH!
This location is the lowest quality Bojangles of all time. Every single person I talk to says so, but this is my childhood-adult location so I didn’t want to give up on it. Out of the thousands of times I’ve eaten here I’ve never asked for fresh food, and the manager didn’t like that and I could tell by the look on her face. Why were my fries luke warm? Tenders were fine.
It honestly truly saddens me to leave this review, it’s a shame honestly that this lovely community is paying more money for lower quality food when the food here used to be amazing.
Please still eat here, do not let my review keep you away, but as one of the most loyal customers of this location and an ex employee, I am as disappointed as a parent who is watched their kid fail math. I know you all can do better.
I will be back, let’s hope my next review...
Read moreCame to the store the other day..I usually use drive-thru but the line was very long. I parked and went inside.. there was only one person ahead of me so i assumed i made the faster choice. I ordered ham, egg and cheese biscuit. After about 8 minutes standing around, I received my order.
When I got in the car, I saw the order was wrong. Went back in with my receipt and explained what happened. Took roughly another ten minutes.. with at least 2 employees standing around chit-chatting, in front of the manager. She did not seem to care. Everytime I made eye contact with one of the "non-working" employees I received a scoff. Maybe they were on break? I just dont believe the front counter is an appropriate place for breaktime. It gives off the wrong impression; like they dont care. There was another girl there waiting for something the entire time.
Love the food, I just dont see why it should take 20 minutes for biscuits.. especially when half the staff is standing around talking. I wish I was exaggerating; and I've worked in the restaurant industry. I never would have tolerated that sort of lackluster attitude from my staff regarding customers- the experience should be positive and enjoyable, and I felt like a jerk bc I received incorrect food.
Still love Bojangles; I'll just be visiting the next closest location...
