I order from Domino's on occasion but won't any further. I ordered 2 pizza's Saturday night 1 for me and 1 to go in the fridge for my wife since she wasn't around and out was going to be nice for her to have some food around that she could grab at a moments notice since we are home with our new baby. Fast forward to Monday afternoon not even 48 hours after we ordered and she goes to grab a slice and the ham on her pizza has started turning green. I call domino's to see if we could get a small credit or something, the manager was not necessarily rude but not remotely apologetic. His first words in response were "just don't eat it". Thanks man I didn't know that, he said there was no way to verify that it had been refrigerated properly and so nothing could be done, which is fair, people are out there trying to get illegitimate free food all the time, I understand. I was a pizza manager for nearly 10 years, I know domino's isnt the highest quality nor do I expect a lot from them. But as someone who was serve save certified and has been around I'm certain either a) they were keeping their ham past it's shelf life or b) they are not storing it properly because I have never seen ham do that when served, stored, and handled properly. And I had roommates who I would give free pizzas to and they would let it sit out unrefrigerated for days and I would see anything change color that quick. And hey it might be company policy to not do anything for situations like mine which is fine. But at least act sympathetic and pretend to the customer that you will try and do better in the future. Anyways deli meats handled in this fashion are some of the most dangerous foods you can accidentally consume and I would recommend staying away until they ensure that their foods are...
Read moreFor the past 3 years, we have ordered pizza at this Domino's location. The service and quality is variable but today, it was among the worst. We ordered using the same phone at 4:30 PM. We were told to pick up the pizza in ten minutes. Ten minutes later at the store, the person at the counter asked my name and checked in the back and came back to tell me that "it is coming". I waited about 15 minutes more. A second person came along and asked my name again. He went back and asked another person to help. This woman came to the counter with food in her mouth and while chewing, checked the computer and told me that there was no order. I asked her to take the order again. Since we have ordered the same pizza for the last three years, our usual pizza was on the screen. She looked at me strangely and did not push the button. I asked her if she was going to order the pizza. "Yeah, I will order it but it will take another ten minutes" she said in a rude, screaming voice. Now, I said in a firm, tough voice, "please order and get the pizza quickly". A person, who seemed to be her manager, Tom, said in a loud voice, "don't talk to her like that. Then, you decide to sign for the whole order since you're hungry in hopes that they will speedily bring back the rest while you're eating, or hope you get a credit for the whole meal when you call back to state the problem.. The on-duty 'manager' SUCKS, picks up the phone, doesn't introduce himself, wants to solve the problem by telling me that the rest of the order will be delivered promptly. Well sir, I already ate what was delivered, what's the point of you delivering the missing remainder? SHOULD I HAVE WAITED WHILE MY FOOD WAS GETTING COLD BECAUSE OF YOUR IDIOCY? The solution would be for you to credit the sale and apologize. INSTEAD WHAT YOU GET IS ATTITUDE. His solution is to refund me for the whole meal and charge me only for the partial delivery of the order again meanwhile the charge for both orders stays on my bank account for two days.
