I don't like writing bad reviews because I worked in food service and I know how stressful it can be, however my experience this morning was absolutely awful. I was very excited to go to Dunkin to redeem my free birthday drink. I ordered a cold brew and a turkey sausage egg white wake up wrap. The coffee came out fine, however when they called my number I saw the sticker on the bag had the wrong food order. I asked the woman on the sandwich station and she asked for an employee named Amanda to come over. She was extremely rude the entire time. I explained what happened and she basically yelled and said 'yea it's wrong' and then just looked at me. I said 'okay well can you please fix it?' and she walked away. I stood there and then another customer standing at the register said 'I think she wants you to come over here.' She said I owed more money because what I got rang up for was cheaper. I paid another dollar and after I got my receipt I saw the other was still wrong because she rang me up for an English muffin, but honestly I was too scared to say anything because she had already yelled at me once. I had told the lady at the sandwich station initially what I wanted so she knew. She handed me the bag with the English muffin and then said 'oh that's not right' and then gave me the right thing. She was the only helpful and polite person I interacted with. I sat there and ate my food for a while and the whole place was crazy. The employees were screaming at each other, several orders were handed out wrong. One man came back inside after waiting for his food when they asked him to park in the drive thru and he had waited a while. He got in an argument with two people because they said they couldn't find him outside. I'm not sure where he was parked but it was unprofessional for them to all argue with him and raise their voices like they did. An old employee came in to pick up her last check (is what it looked like) and ordered two drinks and as she was leaving Amanda yelled 'and dont come back here.' I was excited to try Dunkin and maybe come here more often because it's closer than Starbucks but after today I will never come back to this place. Read moreToday’s date is 12/16/24. I go to this location almost everyday and every time I talk to jasmine she is always so pleasant and sweet. Today when I arrived, the drive thru line was so long. Cars were to the main road. I noticed it was dark. When I finally got to the window, I notice it was only sweet jasmine in the store, doing her very best to keep it all together. When she came to the window, I asked “are you ok?”. She calmly looked at me and said “no, I’m about to cry!” At the moment I could tell she was holding back tears. I said don’t cry. She then continued to get the rest of my order together. When she returned she with the rest of my order, I asked her name and asked “are you by yourself?” She responds “yes”, still holding tears. I said to her “I’m so sorry but you will be ok.” Trying to encourage her in anyway possible. Jasmines deserves all of her flowers. Shes always pleasant and sweet. Today she showed true hard work and customer service by still trying her hardest to keep it together even through the mess she had to deal with it (not being a manager and not having a manager there). Jasmine deserves all the shout outs, “pats in the back”, and raises she can get and then some. Little does she know, she was calm in the middle of the storm. She may not have felt it but as an outsider looking in…. She was ROCKIN OUT!!!! To management, please, not only do something nice for jasmine but get her some reliable help and please don’t leave her by her self. Read moreIf I could give zero stars I would. I’ve been in NJ for the past 2 weeks and would stop at a different Dunkin’ Donuts dependent upon my location each morning for a cup of coffee. Always received pleasant service and my orders were always accurate. Today I stop at the location on Hillsborough Rd. In Durham for a large coffee with cream and Splenda and the nasty employee at the window takes my money, hands me my coffee with an attitude. Something tells me I should check it before pulling out of the parking lot, and of course there’s wasn’t a drop of cream in the cup. Being there was no one behind me in the drive through at that time, I backed up to the window. The employee sees me, spouts off something I cannot discern, and walks away from the window obviously irritated. Once someone else ordered and she had no choice but to come back to the window, she slams open the window and stares saying nothing. I said “there is no cream and Splenda in this and she replied “there’s Splenda in it”. I don’t like black coffee so I didn’t taste it first. So I say “could I have some cream please?” She slams the window again and comes back with 3 little creamers. Certainly not enough for my large $4.18 coffee, and nothing to stir it with.
