It's hit or miss, but something was definitely off this afternoon. The asada burrito tasted like a salty bar of soap. The carnitas tacos were good, and pretty authentic. The chicken burrito tasted like someone had microwaved a week old burrito, which is strange because you watch them make everything fresh. The cuban-style torta was really good. The salsa verde is wonderful on heat but not on temperature. The two ladies preparing the food seemed happy and were funny (I'm not sure they knew I speak Spanish). Read moreI’ve tried tons of taco spots in the area and this one just ain’t it. $3 per taco but they should be $2-$2.25 tacos. Pros include double tortilla (tortilla is 4/5) and decent salsa (3/5). Cons include tacos being too greasy, al pastor not being true al pastor (where’s the pineapple and vibrant chile color the meat usually has?), and the asada meat lacking taste. Read moreI just moved to Druham today. And this was the first taco truck I've tried. (Im planning to try them all) The tacos were excellent! Could definitely compete with tacos in Arazona. We tried the asada, pollo, and chorizo tacos, and they were top-notch. We ate outside on the steel fold down table at the truck. It was clean. Food was not greasy. Sauce was very tasty. I will be surprised if I find a better steet taco spot in Durham. $3 each. $12 buritto, $14 tortas....
