So this is probably the worst of the worst restaurant i ever went to ever!! I visited wensday 10/sep around 8pm first of all the lady who was talking the order is extremely rude, I did ask for fountain drink with order and then the coke we’re coming from the machine was taste like flat like water i told her to change it to me to can and i get so rude attitude, i went to set outside waiting for the order she came with very dry face drop the food on the table without even saying a word!!about the food it was definitely disgusting and taste like nothing the rice doesn’t have any seasoning or anything the meat is uncooked and taste weird the bread was super old and dry, in the top of that i find a little Insect swimming in tabbouleh!! If that mean anything that means they never wash the parsley, i didn’t want to finish this terrible meal!! Very disappointed, i DO NOT suggest...

somehow i have missed this restaurant in the past 6 years of traveling to or living in Durham. its easy to miss when driving down 9th street! excellent Lebanese-Palestinian restaurant serving the best food on 9th street for sure. warning- the green hot sauce is insanely hot. really great flavor but its the real deal. hummus is solid, pita not bad, tabouleh pretty good, falafel is flavorful, crispy, and excellent. comfy casual atmosphere with booths and they also had some great habibi-techno music playing on the speakers. to me the flavors in general couldve been a little more tasty (i wonder if the food is possibly less spiced to appeal to the local crowd?) but definitely a 4/5 and this type of food is extremely uncommon around so i will definitely be supporting as much as possible. many vegan and vegetarian dishes...

The food is good. I would rate it 4 stars, but I left upset as the owner is a really not a nice guy. I've gone three times and each time, he is very rude. The first time I went, someone tried to order their food without the seasoning because they were watching their salt. He said that would be a disgrace to his food and that he wouldnt serve it that way. The couple left and he talked about them after they left for all the customers to hear. This last time I came, he talked about his hookup, when shown a picture of the girlfriend of someone he called her an "ugly pig" and commented about women as the walked past the store. As a young woman, I felt really incomfortable and left. He is entitled to his free speech, but he nisogynist remarks left a bad taste and I...

My wife & I ate lunch at noon on a Saturday, so few other customers were there. Our first visit, and we're not experts at Middle Eastern cuisine. I chose the Signature Bowl with quinoa instead of rice. It was tasty, though the marinade seemed to overwhelm the chicken flavor. The hummus & warm pita were nice! My wife tried the Chicken Shawermah. She says it seemed a bit dry (perhaps coming off the grill), and didn't taste like that item when she makes it in oven at home. Service was fast, portions were good size. We didn't try desserts this time. Interesting wall "posters" with currencies from around the world.
