Recent health inspection concerns.

La Isla Del Mar (315 Foushee St. in Durham) received a score of 87.5% during an inspection on Wednesday, March 26.

The restaurant was in violation of 17 standards.

Violations included raw chicken above beef in chest freezer, ice machine with pink build up and cleaner stored on shelving with food.

Some violations were corrected during the inspection.

The restaurant previously scored 88.5% in August 2024 and 81% in September 2023.

I love the taco truck! I got a pastor quesadilla, 2 chorizo tacos and 1 pollo taco and some horchata. I absolutely love everything that is on their menu but this is my constant order everytime I go. I will only eat here and no where else...

They have young girls working there that are able to get away with drinking alcohol that are underage. The owners do not pay...
