Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Durham

Yesterday on a thursday nite 3 people called out from work. Yet this place is desperate for help. A manager named tasheem left another manager named vanessa (whos coughing as she is preparing food with her bare hands 😬) in the store alone with another employee yesterday like for over 30 minutes and it just so happen to get busy and Vanessa was overwhelmed on the phone with her boyfriend thee whole shift as complaining to him looking at us for help. Now I can't speak for the other young man working with me that night however I jumped in to help the best way I could to assist Vanessa. After I helped box and prepare a 16in pizza in a box, some chicken wings, handle drive thru (that needed a manager in regards to their order), answer busy the phone, make boxes as well as other duties in the midst of her being having a hissy fit she tells us to clean up mind you I had already sweep cleaned and disinfect the front end of the store I said to her ma'am I already cleaned up earlier and was supposed to clock out at 9p ended up working till 10p she tells me if I don't want 2 do my job to clock out as I explained to her that wasn't the case so after she raised her voice at me I BARKED BACK AT HER and left the store. I called tasheem to let him know what happened his response yes "just walk away please" after he reappeared back to work after 10p. So with no set schedule today I didn't go in to work I figured I go in for the rest of the weekend so I txt tasheem and he's like we need to talk. I already knew what it was about...Than I was fired. Than to make matters worse tasheem didn't know how to use the new system from HR to set me up with my benefits and etc.,. yet I was able to clock in with my fingerprint so I can be able to get paid bcuz I just missed the weekly pay period today. They talking about I need to come in do my paperwork that yall cudnt figure out. I can't even log into the system...ARE YALL SERIOUS!!! PAY ME FOR THE TIME I WORKED END OF STORY. Im so tired of this...

They do not even deserve one star. When I received my order the pizza appeared to have been sitting for a while. When I mentioned it to the general manager Zachery, he was very nonchalant about the fact that our pizza was cold and the dough appeared to have been sitting. The pizza crust didn't rise, which led me to believe that it was the pizza crust from last night, that he just threw some sauce on and put in the oven. Whomever made the crust did a terrible job and my sauce was more then an inch from the edge. I personally was an employee for many years during my time in high school and college, particularly this store while in high school. I am very disappointed in how unprofessional that store manager is. He wasn't even trying to remake our pizzas, but he did. I requested some kind of refund or something for our trouble, all he was willing to do was give a soda, no apology or anything. This is a repeated problem from this store and some kind of action needs to be taken. I have asked other family and friends in the area about their experience with the store, and they could agree on what poor product is produced from this specific location. I love papa johns as a whole, but this store will never receive any more of my money until a change is made. I am highly disappointed at the kind of leadership this store has. I ordered a pizza online. It said it would ready in 20-30 mins. I drive to the papa johns. there's a drive thru lines that basically not moving. Then there's a long line inside also not moving. I sat and waited 35 mins just to get to the window. And they tell me my pizza isn't ready an hour after I ordered it. Says it will be 20-25 more mins. Since I already waited an hour I figured I might as well just wait. I sit in the parking lot for 30 mins. Get back in the drive thru line. There's like 2 cars ahead of me but they aren't moving because they are basically leaving cars at the window for 20+ mins. I spend another 30 mins before I get to the window. Then when I get there they say it's not ready but it's on the way. I think they kept forgetting to make my 1 pizza or kept giving it away because they were behind. I sit at the window waiting for another 30 mins to receive my pizza. There were others that waited very long to many people drove off. Some people got their pizza before me even though they showed up after me. I've never waited 2.5+ hours for a pizza before but it happened here. That said I feel like my food free. I should've been given a refund for my food or an extra pizza or something. It doesn't take 2.5 hours to make a pizza. That said I highly doubt I'll be ordering papa johns for a...
