Well Mr Manger Brenden here i am reporting your card skimming operations like I assured you I will!!! My wife and kids were in that side of town today and decided to stop there to get food!! She gave the debit card for purchase and the clerk HELD her card and gave her food when my wife noticed her card was not handed to her she parked her car and ran in to get it, after my wife got the card she checked the acct and noticed that her card was charged twice in there one for 11 dollars and other for 30 dollars she checked her acct because she noticed the guy that helped her had some girls by the drive through waiting and hanging out doing whatever!!! My wife ran back home because she went to confront the guy and he was GONE she came home shook up and informed me what happened and I immediately called taco bell to see what happened WELL MR BRENDON BRENDEN or BRE whatever answereded the phone and said my wife had to come back right now, I don't him that is not going to happen because she is home and she has responsibilities such as kids and such well brenden Brandon Mr manager said that is irrelevant and that is not his concern I mean I wish I could have recorded the conversation because I have never been approached in my life by a MANAGER like this!! I don't know what Taco bell is doing but beware THEY ARE STEALING YOUR CARD INFO AND SWIPPING IT IN THERE!! I WILL BE CALLING BANK AND REPORTING THEM and also the BBB and be sending bank...
Read moreFinally reached the breaking point with this location. This place used to have decent service, but now they can’t even be bothered to stay open or serve food when they are.
First, we placed an order through the app an hour before closing (7pm) on Tuesday evening. On our way we notice the order had been canceled by the restaurant for some reason. As we pulled into the parking lot there were two cars in the drive-thru, so we pulled in behind them. We waited about 5-10 minutes with no movement, and noticed an employee standing outside the entrance waiting on a ride. Apparently they decided to close an hour early, and the employee didn’t even have the decency to walk over and let the growing line of customers know that they’d closed and that no one else was inside the building.
Second, we place an order on Friday for lunch. Arrive, and again the order is canceled by the restaurant. Mind you, this is in the middle of the day. Walk in, and they say they’re, “open but not serving food right now.” What? How are you, as a restaurant, open but not serving food? What’s worse is when it was brought to their attention that there was a car blocking the drive thru the said that it was an employees car blocking customers because they didn’t want their timer to go off.
It’s probably time they just bulldoze this location and turn it into a vacant lot, as that would better serve the folks of North Durham...
Read moreEDIT: This Taco Bell has redeemed itself. The hours are later and food is fresher and the people are all a lot nicer. Feel free to add this Taco Bell back to your "I need cheap food" craving menu.
Keeping old review below for prosperity. I do not like posting negative reviews. In fact I mostly try to avoid it. I know that everything has good and bad days... but when all you get is bad - its frustrating.
LOOK. I GET IT. ITS TACO BELL - Its not fine dining. Its fast food. But sometimes you want a dang soft taco.
Well - straight up - think twice about coming here for you fix.
Their hours are unclear, constantly out of food, skimpy portion sizing (unless you like cold beans, man you get tons of cold beans), rude employees (not all of them!), system is often down.. it goes on and on.
Man I dunno - I don't want to just complain, but this is legit one of the worst Taco Bells I have ever been too - which sucks because its the closest one to me.
Anyway - 2 stars because when they do get it right its bang on... but I will not be going back anytime soon. I'll just hit up the authentic taco joint...
