We love Indian food, even more Indian people and visit Indian restaurants quite often, more than any others. We will not be back to this location.
I rarely bad reviews esp about the food industry, but I also know if you’re not sharing such feedback, mistakes will continue to be costly for a business as such poor service is unacceptable. Before you start reading, note that we were the only 2 people in the restaurant.
Food is delicious (5 stars and all kudos to chef), service is less than one star.
The waiter seemed surprise that’s we came in. We were served by 3 diff people and none would take back empty dirty dishes, so we were stocking them up.
Bread came after our reminders when full dinner was served and none of 3 bothered to check that something important was missing.
Sour lassi was made with either very very old or very bad ingredients, was warm and smelled like rotten eggs. We both tried it and left it aside. When waiters came - we told them like 5 times how bad it was. I had never tried sour lassi as bad as this one!
No one offered replacement, nobody apologized. The only response was “we don’t put eggs in sour lassi”. (!!!!!)
Obviously, there was no efforts to fix the situation (and obviously we were $ charged).
No “thank you” for coming either. Not even “good bye”.
We felt strongly that we were not welcomed there and I hope managers/owners who worked so hard to build this beautiful and welcoming place ((which we loved visiting since they opened)) does understand that with such poor treatment of clients, the place will be continuously struggling bringing customers in.
I could point on many other issues, but you got an idea. Their management would strongly benefit from service training by higher ups. Or they just need to hire someone more caring.
I hope upper management has a chance to read this and get it improved, as it was the whole point of...
Read moreTandoori Bites is a fantastic spot for anyone looking to indulge in authentic Indian cuisine with bold flavors and generous portions. I visited recently and left both full and impressed.
The restaurant has a cozy, inviting atmosphere with warm lighting and traditional decor. It feels casual yet classy—great for family dinners, date nights, or just catching up with friends over good food.
I ordered the Tandoori Mixed Grill, which came sizzling hot with a variety of meats—chicken tikka, lamb kebab, tandoori shrimp—all perfectly cooked with that signature smoky flavor. Every bite was juicy, tender, and well-seasoned. The Butter Chicken was another standout: rich, creamy, and deliciously spiced without being overpowering.
The naan bread was fresh and soft, and the biryani had great depth of flavor with fragrant basmati rice and tender pieces of chicken. Portions were generous, and prices were reasonable for the quality.
The service was friendly and efficient. The staff made great recommendations and checked in often enough without hovering.
Overall, Tandoori Bites delivers on both taste and experience. It’s definitely a place I’d recommend for anyone craving authentic Indian...
Read moreWe were just there. We waited an hour and 15 minutes. They never brought my drink so I reminded them but they still never brought my drink. They brought out the three kids meals after 45 minutes we waited for the adult meals. They never came so after an hour and 15 minutes I went to pay for the kids meals. They said our food was done. I said that’s OK. We can’t eat it now because the kids have already eaten and would not have the patience to sit while the adults eat, and it has been an hour and 15 minutes. The chef basically yelled at me and said that I should understand that they are busy and have big tables and it takes a long time to get food.(They only had one large table with seven people) other than that we were one of three tables. The place was not busy, it is Friday night. It is a restaurant. Having managed over a dozen restaurants in my lifetime, I just looked at him and said “it’s a restaurant“ even informed me I did not have to pay for the children’s meal, and was just very mean to me. if you don’t want your food. If you want to wait a long time. If you want to be yelled at. If you want people to forget the drinks even after you remind them, by all...
