New Hope Commons — Local services in Durham

Made some amazing discoveries at New Hope Commons. First, while strolling through Barnes & Nobles, I became aware of E-Gift Cards. Now I understand that everyone on the planet knows about E-Gift cards.....that is everyone except me. I use my phone mostly as a weight device to keep my balance. But now I have five happy grandkids who all love books. I always thought Wal-Mart stores were all the same; not so! The Wal-Mart at New Hope Commons has a far larger collection of items than the store in Hillsborough. Ultimately I made my way to "Best Buy". Now it is purely an assumption, but I believe "Best Buy" and "Wal-Mart" are considered big box stores. You should be able to determine by now that I don't do a lot of shopping. None the less, I had a ball. Why??????? Because they also have a Starbucks in the complex. I...

There is no luster here at party City it's half empty they're not fully stocked they can't keep up with demand or if they do have demand I don't even know if they're ordering or keeping things fully in stock the Barbie stuff pretty sells well and fast but yet they don't keep it stocked as for the other surrounding areas Marshalls doesn't have a lot to do with really want to keep coming back for more to enjoy and then there's five and below lots of things that have been there for years but it's nothing that you really interested in somehow they don't get rid of it as for Michaels they have things that you need but they don't have the variety that was once there before they just have lots of really interesting pretty decorative things and crafts things they still do but it's not like it was before...

Although I was only looking for Walmart, this shopping plaza has SO many stores! I know I didn't see them all but, there was a huge variety! I saw a Home Goods store, an enormous Barnes and Noble, a Dollar Tree, a bicycle shop, and so many more.

This is a very attractive plaza. I saw quite a few restaurants, anything from a sub shop to full sit down meal, complete with a full bar..

This shopping complex is pretty easy to find, once you find it the first time. It's only one traffic light from the I-40 overpass .

I highly recommend this awesome shopping plaza, New Hope Commons. As far as I could see, all stores were handicapped accessible, including the parking. I found it extremely helpful in my travels 😊
