We found this place by looking for boba places, but decided to eat dinner here. We actually didn’t end up getting boba bc we were too full after dinner. We ordered at the kiosk and they bring the food out, and you help yourself to water. My son and I ordered pork soup dumplings - they were really good and a good value for $10. I didn’t mean to order the pork crispy bottom buns (must’ve accidentally touched the screen) and mistakenly ordered TWO orders! They were actually delicious so not mad about it, but we just had way too much food bc we also got the scallion pancakes - also good. The braised beef in the noodle soup was super tender, which was nice. I do not recommend the sesame chicken bowl with broccoli. The kiosk asked if we wanted white rice for $2. Almost the entire bowl is rice, with a very small portion of sesame chicken, which was soggy and not very good, and literally 3 small pieces of broccoli. And way overpriced for $17 for what you get. I’d stick with the dumpling-type...
Read moreWe recently visited Tsaocha Durham for their grand opening, and it was a great experience! They had a fantastic buy-one-get-one-free deal on drinks, so we tried the grapefruit slush and strawberry slushy with 50% sugar—both were delicious and just the right level of sweetness.
For food, we ordered the beef noodles, which were flavorful and customizable with various protein options, including vegetarian. We also had the pork rice with broccoli, and both dishes were served quickly and tasted amazing.
The staff was super friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. Plus, there’s convenient street parking available nearby. We highly recommend Tsaocha Durham and will...
