I had an incredibly disappointing and unsanitary experience at this Wendy’s location. On Sunday night, I went through the drive-thru, and because it was dark, I asked at the speaker if they were open because I couldn’t tell. The lady responded, “You have to come in, we are having a shift change.” So, I went inside.
There was another customer in front of me, and we both waited for about 4 minutes while a few employees stood around in the corner. The only person who seemed to be working was a guy in the back, busy cooking. At one point, I heard someone say, "Someone will get to you." What really shocked me was that an employee standing by the drive-thru window was eating and drinking on the job. (probably the reason why she wanted me to come in) She was wearing a gloves on both hands, and at one point, she used her gloved hand to put her finger in her mouth, presumably to get something out of her teeth, with the camera over her head. This behavior is incredibly unsanitary, especially in a food service environment. Thank god she wanted me to come in or else I wouldn’t have seen this.
At this point, it feels like Wendy’s is just hiring anybody to keep the business afloat, without regard for basic professionalism or food safety standards. I’ve never witnessed such a lack of hygiene and customer service in a restaurant, and it’s deeply concerning. I feel obligated to contact corporate and report this to sanitation authorities. It's no wonder the place was completely empty.

Read moreWaited in drive thru line for 30+ mins. 10 just to place an order and 20 at the window. A new person was working and they told me they couldn't take my card or cash because everyone now had to count the money in the registers right that second. So everyone behind me also waited for 30+ mins. Why do this during dinner rush? Can't use another register? At one point everyone working inside went to the very back and I could see customers inside very visibly angry and walking out. Pic of empty restaurant from drive thru window as proof. No one came back to the window so I left without ever getting my food or being further communicated with, and I watched the people behind me leave too. I don't understand why this happened? Please at the very least keep your customers informed if somethings up, please don't waste our time or leave us in the dark...it's fast food, I ultimately could've gone elsewhere if they informed us it would take X many minutes and actually could've gotten dinner before work. I understand having a tough day at a tough job, but I had to go straight to work without food because they took so long with no communication, and I had no time to go elsewhere. Read moreI ordered through the app & waited a little while so it would be done by the time I arrived, I arrived & my order was still being put together which was fine, so I waited for about 10 minutes inside & the lady taped up my order & handed it to me. I proceeded to walk outside & check my order & ate some of the fries & they were old & very stale & I was missing a whole burger not to mention that the chicken sandwich that I had ordered was very stale as well & tasted like it had been sitting there for a very long time. I walk back inside a little irate but still very respectful & told the lady that packed the order that a burger was missing & the fries were very stale & cold, she proceeded to get me new fries & another burger & the male making the burger if I had the one with no bacon, which I replied yes, that’s mine with no bacon, he made a new burger throws it on the counter, & walks away. I put the burger in my bag & continued to wait on my fries, the fries come out the lady hands me them & I say thank you & walk out. After all that time I’m ready to eat, I take out my burger & it has bacon on it after I asked & was confirmed to have ordered the one without bacon!
