I love Zaxby’s but tonight was a complete disappointment. I ordered my usual fried Cobb salad without fried onions. Tonight I seriously think they put 1 1/2 chicken tenders on this $10.89 salad. When I called to voice my concern to the manager he told me that the kitchen staff either chop or dice three chicken tenders on my salad so I can appear to look like less chicken. . I told him it doesn’t matter if the chicken was cubbed, diced, chopped or shredded. 3 is 3 all day! He told me to bring the salad and receipt tomorrow and I could get another one. First off I don’t live on that side of town, 2nd I’m hungry now, 3rd you want me to use my gas to come across town to bring back a salad that you cheated me on in the hope of getting it rectified because there isn’t a guarantee that it will be corrected. How does that make sense? All these years these restaurants still haven’t learned a darn thing from Chic-Fil-a’s customer service that’s why they are still #1!! Zaxby’s is my second go to clearly they are not in the running to be #1 and actually are more like my 6th choice at this point. I’m over it! I ordered specifically a cobb salad ( ingredients should be onion straws, bacon, cucumbers, eggs, lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, red cabbage and carrots) with blackened chicken. I also ordered a side if blackened grill chicken. I received first a black blue salad which was incorrect. I informed the cashier at the window. The person who took the order told her, " Oh. I rung up the wrong thing). The drive thru cashier then tells the cook to make a Cobb salad with blackened chicken. The drive thru cashier then asks for the wrong order that she has already given me back in exchange for what should have been the right order. As I pulled off, I checked the bag again and no salad dressing which was in the wrong first order back. I then backed up beside the car that was in the drive thru and frustrated inform the drive thru cashier that my salad dressings are missing. She then informs me to drive back around the building to get the missing dressings. I told her No, she can have someone walk them out the door and bring them to me. THE ASSOCIATE ASKS FOR MY ORDER, INTERRUPTS ME AND SAYS HOLD ON. SHE NEVER COMES BACK AFTER I HONK AND SAY HELLO AFTER ABOUT 4-5 MINS SHE ASKS MY DRINK. AT THIS POINT I LAUGH AND AM LIKE DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHAT I WANT? I NEVER GOT THE WORDS OUT. SHE THEN DOESNT RESPOND i WAIT AND WAIT AND FINALLY PULL UP TO THE WINDOW. NO ONE OPENS IT FOR A COOL 2 MINS THEN MONICE OR A MELANIE FINALLY CAME AND APOLOGIZED TOOK MY ORDER THEN MADE ME PULL UP TO WAIT 5 MORE MINUTES FOR THE FOOD TO GET READY AND WALK IT OUT TO ME.
