Tapp'd — Restaurant in Dyersburg

The first thing to know is that this is a bar. Not a restaurant. Second, it is packed. I waited by the door, apparently unseen, for 10 min before any one said anything to me. I sat at the end of a table crowded with two couples. Two local ladies and two out of town gents. All were very polite and friendly. Which brings me to the best feature of the place, the customers. The atmosphere was outstanding. Had a few number 11s, which was a bit sweet for a stout, imo. Also, watch the alcohol content, it varies by beer and can sneak up on you. I'm not sure who set the munu or picked the settings, but they were both too classy for a no where town in extreme west Tennessee. And now for the 2 star deduction...2 or 3 very dark, tightly curled hairs came with burger. The offending follicle growths appeared to have sprouted from the head of a dark skinned fellow. At least I hope so, if not someone is losing crotch hairs. Pointed out to the wait staff, the burger was whisked away and replaced (but not one the tab).

Decent enough place if you are in town and want a draft, but be prepared for a crowd, trivia style bar games, and stay away...

There are only really two decent bars in this town. This one is fairly newly renovated and it looks really upscale especially compared to what it looked and smelled like before. You can tell the owners tried hard to make this a nice place! The drink selection is its muse and it is great! The handful of "Other" places for adults to hang out you would want to wear a bulletproof vest, this isnt the case here, it is clean and the feeling is safe. I do find it boring at times. It gets packed and the few games they do have stay occupied. Could really use some live music or a DJ/ Karaoke going regularly. They do at least have music playing inside and outside (Outdoor seating is heated) over speakers and occasionally they will contract a band to come, but if I remember correctly you have to purchase tickets in advance for that. Hence, follow their facebook page if you want to be up to speed on events like that. I believe they have an app you can download too. Also, last thing. The few times I've eaten here it was great food and I sure didnt leave hungry! It's awesome Dyersburg has a place like this to have...

We were staying at a hotel down the street and thought we'd try this place. I wouldn't come back and I wouldn't recommend it. If you're hungry, pretend you're in Belize in go VERY early. It's going to take a while ( a long one) to order and then get your food. Perhaps if you're a local you do better. There were several tables came in after us and got their food before, but like I said - we aren't from around here If you like your food overdone and overly dry your in luck, this is a good plaice for you. If you like your burgers medium or juicy, just go someplace else. Our food was so dry and overdone, I'd have done better at Flying J. Finally, it was ladies night - 2 for 1 Drinks.
