I have been going to Jurassic Tacos for years at several locations. It’s some of my favorite tacos! BUT today I went to the Eagle Mt location and I cannot even begin to say how disappointed I was. Ordered a DoorDash pickup, and when I got there at the correct time they had no idea my order existed. I had already paid! Had to repeat my order to multiple people to get them to start cooking They were out of toppings at 6pm on a Saturday Drink dispenser had half the drink options out of order The horchata was the runniest watery horchata I’d ever seen. I did not get any drinks even though I paid for them The top of the salsa squeeze bottle was clogged, couldn’t get any out which made me wonder if it was ever cleaned.
When I got home and actually looked at my food: Asked for pineapple on our al pastor tacos - didn’t get any Paid for chips and guacamole and they gave that avocado ranch stuff that you can get for yourself at the toppings bar for FREE. If I had seen this was so I would have demanded my money back. But I was dumb and left without checking.
This place has HORRIBLE management and I really hope it gets fixed because this location is now the nearest Jurassic Tacos to my house.
For now, never going back...
Read morePlace for tacos on the go or looking to dine in and have a heavier (or light) type of taco this is a great spot to come to. Plenty of options for types of tacos from a large one to an order of 3 smaller street tacos in your meal. There is a fountain dispenser for soft drinks and orchata around the corner of where you order food. They do accept Apple Pay, Tap to pay as well as physical card transaction too.
The seating here is much more comfortable than you'd expect. I've sat in both the counter high and bar height stools they have (none of them have backs) and they're comfortable and sturdy to park yourself for awhile. With the seating that is facing the wall in a bar type fashion there are outlets above your table that have built USB Type A charging ports for you which is convenient. Lastly on seating they have a good number of seating outside as well that are round picnic type tables that are white.
Place is well taken care of and have a nice salsa bar to the left of the counter so you can get as creative as you like with your meals. I'd recommend this place to any looking for some tacos of hard or light...
Read moreBeen coming here ever since I first moved to the area, and I fell in love with that happy latino man trying to sell his tacos on the side of the road. But now, the whole restaurant just... doesn't feel the same. Jurassic landed this amazing location because of how much the community loves their tacos. Everyone praises their food highly. But the atmosphere as soon as you walk in feels like a desperate attempt to 'fit in' with everyone else. The furniture is that of an Açai place, hip and far too cluttered for their smaller lobby. The decorations on the wall look plucked right out of my mother's Pinterest feed. And while, yes, the food is the same delicious greasy tacos from the first day I tried them, the pickled onions and fresh lime don't make my face pucker from the sour taste quite the same way.
Delicious food, but unfortunately, it seems the owners have wavered in keeping the autenthicity. If I want street tacos, I don't want to also look at the same decorations I see at...
