We placed our order online early enough that our child could have timebto eat and get our kids to bed early. Our expected delivery time was around 8:30pm however that time came, and went. Upon checking the status of the order via the confirmation email link, it kept showing that our order hadn't even made it to the oven. This was already way past the estimated delivery time. At first we assumed it was a glitch or something. However, after about 30 mins past the scheduled delivery time, we finally called to check that our order was actually placed. Upon calling the store the female employee who answered the phone, placed us on hold to " check on it". When she came back on the phone she just stated "Oh, we weren't paying attention to that, but we will get your order started and sent right out, as soon as possible". I'm assuming that she meant that they were not paying attention to the online order queue? I'm not quite sure? Nothing was offered to counter the inconvenience of our kids waiting until well after bedtime time to eat. Not even an apology was given. It just confirmed why we havent ordered from this store in so long, and why we stopped ordering from Pizza Hut in the 1st place. Honesty, im not even surprised because this location has struggled from the time it opened. Every single time we have tried giving it another shot, we are reminded that this location has terrible customer service, and for some reason, we have never had a "great experience". The wings we received had barely any sauce on them, and they definitely were NOT worth the cost. They had hardly any meat on them, and they looked like they had been sitting under a heat lamp for an extended period of time. The Pizza was still warm when it finally arrived, but the rest of our order, (the BBQ wings, and bread sticks) was cold. Definitely NOT worth the $40+ plus dollars it cost. Especially, to get wings that are not only cold but basically just skin and bone. I do NOT think we will be ordering from Pizza Hut again. I could understand a mistake every once in a while. We are all human. but it is every single time we order from here that something is wrong. We even tried dinning in some time ago, and they brought our order to the table but the wings were not all there. We were shorted by 2 wings! When we brought it to their attention, they did nothing about it. They refused to put "only 2 wings" through the oven, when in my opinion, the wings we ordered, should've either been refunded, or re-made correctly. That was the same time our son ordered an extra topping on his personal size pizza, which we were charged, $1 extra for, BUT his pizza came out with 4 hole Pepperoni pieces on it. It was $1 per extra topping. That meant we paid 25 cents per pepperoni. I mean seriously? Not to mention the "minor aged" employees that were being completely unprofessional and goofing off in front of all the " dine-in" customers. We even watched an entire pizza end up falling off the oven belt and onto the floor, because no one was attending to it. I doubt we will be spending our hard earned money at a location that clearly still can't get it together! Nor can they provide any sort of QUALITY customer service, to the dissatisfied customers. Very poor experience, not just this time, but every time we've...
Read moreMy family and I will be moving to Eagle Mountain city center in the next couple months, so we decided to support our future local businesses. Unfortunately it wasn’t the best experience. When we walked in, we noticed all the tables have signs on them that say “Please seat yourself, a server will be with you shortly, this table has been sanitized.” There was only one other couple there seated already. We glanced around trying to find a table that was cleaned. Not one table was clean. So we pulled out some wipes and wiped down the table ourselves. We sat around for around 15 minutes and because no one came. As the sign specified they would, and decided to just walk up to the front and order. After we ordered, we were told our order would take 15 min and we were given a number to put at our table for them to know where to take our order. After waiting 45 min for our order and seeing another couple that came in and ordered after us get their food, I decided to go up and ask where our order was. Turns out it was done and had been sitting there. I decided I’d ask to speak to a manager. When I brought up my issues with my visit, they just argued instead of apologizing and sending people out to clean. However as we were finishing our food, the manager and one other worker came out with a cookie and apologized for our experience. I appreciate the gesture but I’d appreciate it more if I saw someone out there cleaning after I mentioned how dirty the tables and floors were.
Summary of issues No acknowledgement of customers as they enter Signs saying to seat yourself and a server would be with us when that isn’t true. Signs say the table has been cleaned and sanitized when that was clearly not true They didn’t bring us our food like they said they would when they gave us a table number. Don’t argue with a customer, acknowledge the issue, apologize, and fix the customer’s concern.
All these things are easily fixed. I can tell the staff including the manager were all very young but it’s important to learn how to fix these issues to run a business successfully.
I will be back and will try this location again as I don’t believe it’s fair to keep a rating based on a one time experience. I will adjust my rating as I go more often and see if this is a reoccurring theme. However as of right now, I would not recommend this location. I hope to raise my rating in the future. Things I’ll look for are: a clean dining area, improved customer service, and clear understanding of what to do when we walk in (sit and wait for waiter or order up at front).
Also side note, why the heck is dipping sauce not included on 16 count wings???? We had to pay for dipping sauce. Thought at least one dipping sauce would had...
Read moreI was excited to hear that Pizza Hut was coming to Eagle Mountain City Center. Ordered delivery once and the pizza came luke-warm and soggy. Came to dine in on 1/30/2020 and after watching 5 workers walk out after yelling at the management with no food, I was skeptical. We were overcharged for our pizza, we ordered 3 large drinks and were given 2 then heavily questioned when we went to get our 3rd cup. The pizza took over an hour to get to our table and was stale tasting and not hot.
Worst Pizza Hut location I have ever been to. Avoid this location at all costs!!
If management doesn’t change their ways, this location is not going to fare well. I hope they do change, as I enjoy Pizza Hut.
Update: We have tried the Eagle Mountain Pizza Hut several times since the first post. They have improved tremendously! Still not the greatest, but will continue to eat here and hope for future improvements with the staff. The last 2 times we ate here, staff was short and rude to all customers. Maybe I’m holding a small town restaurant to too high of a standard, but yelling at people who are trying to order is never a good thing!
SOOOOOoooo.....the saga continues. Order delivery from Pizza Hut Eagle Mountain 8/19/2023. Received only half of our order. When I called the store, they stated there was nothing they could do as their driver had gone home for the night. I asked what they intended to do about my food/money/anything - was placed on hold. Sat on hold for over 20 minutes with no reply from anyone. Sent an email to corporate office, BBB, Yelp, and here on Google. Update: They "got a hold of their driver" and had him bring the missing items 45 minutes after the rest of the food was already cold and inedible. What a horrible pizza establishment with no brain activity amongst any of...
