I hate to be negative but I feel like after visiting here several times there are some consistent problems. One of them being that service is always backed up and a longer wait time. But our last visit has us thinking we may not want to go back for some other reasons as well. We live nearby, and so we were thrilled to have Thai food so close. But when we asked if a dish could be less spicy the teenager taking the order didn’t say anything and just punched it in. So we assumed that the answer was yes. We know that some Thai dishes or recipes allow for this. But when we got our food (after about a half hour wait), it had a higher heat to it. And we have gotten the same thing at other restaurants with less heat before. And being pregnant it’s important to me, since my stomach can’t handle heat very well. So, we asked if something could be done - If we could get some coconut milk or peanuts to help it be less spicy. The kids working there basically said, yeah, sorry, no not really. And didn’t offer any solution, such as offering another curry even. We also later saw them watching a video or something on the computer and then overheard them tell a couple of customers the wait would be around 45 min for food (everyone else in the restaurant had their food). So the customers walked out. Honestly these kids didn’t seem to care. I brought our tray up and they didn’t even look up from their video or whatever to take it. I know this is a family business and I hope they make some corrections. I feel like the longer wait time every visit and now this should be acknowledged. They’re food is good, but I don’t see why everyone is giving them such high ratings. Service...
Read moreI went at a slow time of day, so there was no wait to order, and only a short, very reasonable wait for my food. I ordered the Shrimp Rolls (appetizer) and the Pineapple Curry. The menu says the shrimp rolls come with sweet and sour chili sauce, but fear not, it isn’t the sugary, sticky, completely inauthentic garbage you get at places like Panda Express. It was gently sweet, a bit tangy, and just a touch spicy, and much less viscous than other stuff, so it didn’t stick to the shrimp roll like slime. It was just the right amount of sauce for each bite. When I opened the lid of my curry, a wonderful, amazing aroma I haven’t smelled since I lived in New York City wafted over me and made me forget all my woes. I picked up a piece of chicken and put it in my mouth, and all was right with the world. The chicken was tender and juicy, and was infused with the sweet and savory flavor of the curry. The bell peppers were cooked to perfection, still crisp, but without the bitterness that often comes with raw peppers. When I had eaten most of the meat and veggies from the curry, I put some rice in and spooned it out with the curry, and my joy was complete. I haven’t had Thai food this good in thirteen years! A team of wild horses couldn’t stop me from coming back to this incredible place. The staff was friendly and the food was unbelievable. I’d give six stars if Google...
Read moreThe food is pretty darn good. The portions are large and everything is fresh, however that comes at a price. Your wait time will be an HOUR maybe more.. Take this seriously because even if you think you'll get it sooner...you won't, so plan accordingly. Also, Spicy means SPICY. Don't order entrees that are labeled spicy if you don't like SPICY spicy you won't like the spicy option on this menu! I love hot food so I enjoy it but I was really surprised at the level of heat they have opted to build into a regular menu item at it's base level.....case in point on two separate occasions I've been in the dining room waiting for my order and I've over heard guests verbal complaints to the staff about it being too spicy...you have been warned! Othewise, it's good stuff. The coconut...
