Terribly run. Certainly not the fault of the young men working there, but worst experience I've ever had at a fast food chain. Ordered online for pickup at 745 PM. Order showed ready online so I went to pick it up. Not only was my order not ready, but they didn't have any bread except for whole wheat and they said it'd be about 20 minutes for the bread to bake. Ok... some communication would of been nice but stuff happens, so I just ask for a refund instead. The two young men said their manager told them not to give any refunds... which is absurd, if you can't give refunds in a situation that is clearly your fault, what other corners are being cut for cost savings? I said ok and told them I'd be back in 20 minutes. Went home to get my son out of his football gear and it ended up taking me about 35 minutes to get back. They welcome me back and say the bread just finished, but requires 12 minutes to cool. So it's still not ready and they need another 15 minutes. I again ask for a refund. So one of the kids calls his manager, and they have a very brief conversation. After the kid hangs up the phone he just says "sorry, the manager said we cant do it tonight, but we can take your name and call you on Monday. There was a small problem with my call in order, and Lynn immediately addressed my concern and went above and beyond to make it right. She was kind, smiled the whole way through, and made my day a little brighter. She was in charge of the store and knew what it took to, not only fix my order, but make me want to shop at this store twice as much as I have been....I live a block from the store. She managed her small team well and I could tell they all liked working together. Lynn acted like an owner. She took ownership of the problem, her team, and store. Whoever owns this shop is lucky to have Lynn as your manager. People like her are a rare find in a fast food world awash in mediocre employees and lack luster service. Thank you for hiring such a friendly ray of sunshine. Promote her. If you don't, someone else will. Thanks for the great food served with a happy heart....
Read moreSo I love chicken bacon ranch sub but with grilled chicken. I got to the subway by Ridley’s and get this about 2x a month sometimes more. I have even gotten it at this location but it’s been a few months. Today I walked in and asked for it and an employee told me you can’t do that any more. I asked since when. He said a while. So I stewed a bit and waited and asked the other employee if both subways were owned and under same management. She said yes. Okay, so tell me why the other location allows it. She said well they aren’t supposed to. I said the manager makes my sandwich almost every time. She again said they aren’t allowed. She said she was the manager there and knew so okay. So I got home and called the other subway and explained everything. They said they are DEFINITELY allowed. So I asked her too if they were own by the same and she also said yes. So tell me why this location can’t swap the chicken? I don’t care if I had to pay more. Our family will NOT be back at these locations and support these...
