Huddle — Restaurant in Easley

2 stars all the way down. My daughter went thru the drive thru today. She asked for an unsweet tea and some sweet and low. She got regular sugar. If I wanted regular sugar, i would have got sweet tea. Get off your phone and pay attention! I hate going thru the drive thru. They rush you and don't give you a minute to look and add it up and decide. I've always put it up to that's the way they were but they Can be nicer. Nicer at the microphone. Nicer at the window and nicer inside instead of hollering out your meal, they can bring it to you But today got me. I ate half my chicken fingers and fries and closed the plate and sat it on the table for later. Later on I came back and took the plate to my bed to eat the rest and when I opened it to my surprise it was full of huge big Ole knats or fruit flies or watever you want to call them but they ruined my dinner. I got to thinking I don't have a knat problem right now and there are no knats on the table. They had to come mixed in the chicken and fries! So how many knats and fruit flies and flies have we ate mixed in our food when we sit down to eat at the huddle. I'm not sure because my girls and I used to eat there regularly. But after getting my own confirmation of the unprofessionalism to keep food covered and to keep the place clean I will not be eating from the huddle anymore. Bad news spreads faster than good news does. And if any employee reads this, I hope they take it to Mr Huddle and he cleans...

I love the Huddle. It's been around my entire life or at least for as far back as I remember. I mostly will get a hotdog. Because they are so good. Years ago if you ordered one to go they wrapped it up in that white paper type stuff. It kind of squished it a little making it a little bit smaller but there was something about it that seemed to make the hotdog even better. They no longer wrap them though. Now it's put in one of those styrofoam hotdog shaped containers . But they are still delicious. For breakfast no one can beat their gravy biscuits. The gravy is creamy and has sausage in it. Ordering a gravy biscuit at the Huddle will get you a huge serving of food. You get a biscuit and a half completely covered with the best sausage gravy around. And at a very reasonable price. Another favorite of mine is their hot fudge cakes. It's also huge. I haven't had one in a long time but I remember the lid never closed all the way down because it was so big. I always used the drive thru when I would get one. They are served on a plate if you're eating inside. If you've never been to the Huddle it may be good to know that the drive thru is a little right. If you're vehicle makes wide left turns you should just be cautious of it. There is no wall there so it shouldn't be any problem for most people. It is probably...

The HUDDLE.....LOVE THE HUDDLE TO ALL WHO COMPLAIN. MANAGED RESTURANTS FOR 20 YEARS. STARTED AT THE BOTTOM. DONE ALL POSITIONS. YOU WILL NEVER FIND A PERFECT RESTAURANT EVERY SINGLE TIME YOU GO. NEVER. DIFFERENT WORKERS, COOKS, WAITRESSES. ALL PEOPLE HAVE OFF DAYS. ALL SORTS OF THINGS. HUMANS ARE IMPERFECT. IN LAST FEW YEARS, YOU CANT FIND ANYONE TO WORK. MOST PLACES WILL TAKE A WARM BODY TO JUST TO OPEN. BUSINESSES CANT BE PICKY. THIS IS NOT THEIR FAULT. ITS THE WAY IT IS. I TRY TO BE UNDERSTANDING IF MISTAKES ARE MADE. MAJORITY OF THE TIME, ITS FANTASTIC. SO I LET IT GO IF MISTAKES ARE MADE. THE LADY ON GNATS???? NEVER EVER IN 12YRS HAVE I SEEN GNATS, HAIR OR ANYTHING IN MY FOOD. GNATS CAN GET IN ANYWHERE. I GURANTEE YOU, THESE GNATS ARE IN YOUR HOUSE. THEY ARE HARD TO SEE. WHEREVER YOU PUT YOUR PLATE, OR THEY ARE IN YOUR HOUSE. I CANT BELIEVE YOU EVEN POSTED THAT. REMEMBER DONT ALWAYS BE COMPLAINER. WHEN ITS GOOD SAY IT IS. I KNOW YOU BEEN BACK TO THE HUDDLE. I KNOW YOU KNOW, NO GNATS IN FOOD. WHATEVER MADE YOU MAD, DEAL WITH THAT. AS FAR AS BEING RUSHED.....LOOK AT MENU ONLINE BEFORE YOU GO!
