Dinner was from Merrell’s Pizza last Thursday. I made a call in order on my lunch break for pick up at 4 pm that afternoon. I ordered a large chef salad with ranch dressing and no red onions. The salad is huge, enough for 2 people in my case it was enough to eat half that night, the other half was dinner the next night. This salad was loaded with ham, Turkey, lettuce, chopped tomatoes, shredded cheese, banana peppers and sliced black olives. Merrell’s is one of my favorite places to get a salad. My usual salad place is Chick-fil-A, I’ve gotten tired of their salads, and Merrell’s salad is MUCH bigger than a Chick-fil-A salad. The price is about $3 to $4 dollars more, but for the size comparison and taste, it’s worth it. Merrell’s wasn’t busy at 4pm, so pick up was quick and easy. The lady at check is always friendly. If you’re looking for a delicious and satisfying salad give Merrell’s Pizza a try. UPDATE 6/22/2025 I love a good salad, and Merrell’s Pizza in Easley has a good salad. I did try the Mile High pizza on thin crust without mushrooms and onions. I didn’t like the pizza, it was only just ok to me. The toppings were on the skimpy side, not sure why it’s called mile high. The Mile High pizza is like a supreme pizza. The crust dry and tasteless.!I’ll stick to their salads, they are the bomb!! The 5 stars are for their salads.

My husband and I have been here on several occasions with his service dog and always had a wonderful experience. The girl behind the counter with the long black hair is always extremely welcoming, providing excellent service. Unfortunately tonight was such a terrible experience we will not be coming back. As soon as we walked into the restaurant, literally less than 30 seconds in, one of the girls came up to us to tell us our service dog was not allowed inside. He was not wearing his vest as it is 90 degrees out but had his ID tag attached to his collar just in case (his vest was in the car). We were planning on sitting outside anyways but within that 30 seconds, the whole kitchen staff was scolding us for bringing him inside. I promptly took him out of the establishment to wait outside, feeling incredibly unwelcome. According to my parents, even after we left with our service dog, the kitchen staff continued educating my parents on ADA laws. If they had more to say, despite me removing our dog, why not come outside to talk to me? Why talk to my parents who had nothing to do with anything seemingly carrying it on? On top of that, I ordered an ice cream brownie and I’ll attach what it looked like coming out. Totally melted right off the bat. We will not be returning.

Went for lunch today and got a buffalo chicken sandwich. Everything tasted alright except the proportion of bread to actual stuff in the sandwich was out of whack (see picture attached for reference). Fries also came out cold. Nothing about the taste of the food was bad, just the content of it. People who were with me and got pizza enjoyed it (and the slices for the lunch special were pretty huge). I'd be willing to come back to try something else. EDIT: After going a few more times and trying a couple more options I've decided to bump my review up to 4 stars. Lunch offerings are still not very good - wings were just fine and the pizza by the slice was not good - I would skip Merrells entirely for lunch and just go to two bros. However, after having had their normal (carry out) pizza I can say that they do make a good pizza, which is the main reason for my increase in score.

When I called to place an order, the woman who picked up the phone said she had to put me on hold for a minute. I waited around 7 minutes and decided to hang up and call back, as it was a while and I thought maybe they had forgotten they put me on hold (which seemed to be the case). Well, the same woman (knowing I was the one she put on hold the first time) rudely answered and the first thing she said was something along the lines of “I was gonna tell you that you need to place an order online or wait on hold.” I was taken aback, and then asked “Okay, is it because you are really busy?” and she rudely said “yeah” rushing the conversation. Customer service is a 0 for me, and I don’t care how busy you are, you should still be respectful and polite when answering the phone. I also don’t know what the difference is between placing an order online or on the phone with her, since she didn’t appear to be busy (but maybe was embarrassed she completely forgot she put me on hold & was trying to hint at turning us away because she couldn’t handle having more than 10 customers in the restaurant at a time…). Either way, ordering online or on the phone, they would make the order when they could, and there would be a wait time. So I’m not sure what the problem was, or why she couldn’t just politely say they were too busy and couldn’t serve/take takeout orders for anyone else. I don’t appreciate the attitude and did not expect that from Merrell’s. I placed the order online as it was getting later and my family was waiting for me to order, and this was the only place nearby with decent pizza (and let’s say “decent” prices, although high for specialty pizzas). Got home after picking it up, and as we are eating my mother realized her stromboli (mozzarella with meatballs) had raw meatballs, some were bloodshot red/pink. In addition, the pizza had barely any cheese on it, mostly just sauce, and the dough was underbaked. So much for ordering food, picking it up, and needing a new plan for food tonight. You either say you are too busy and are not taking anymore orders for the night/the time being, that way you are not rushing the food to the point where you give it to customers raw. Or you allow orders and properly cook them through all the way. It’s common sense and a matter of whether you want to keep business or lose it.

Safe to say we will not...

There was trash outside all over , but we have had good experiences there, so we overlooked it. Went in was about to order, a lady came to the counter and complained that there was drink in the walkway, her grandson almost slipped in. The put a cone beside it instead of cleaning it up.We went for wings, but their prices have went up! We ordered, a chicken parmigiana and baked spaghetti and went into the room to sit and seen what she meant, many tables filthy unbussed, and food on all over the floor. Nobody making any effort to clean up. I chalked it off to lack of help. Normal wait time for the food, but his came out nuclear hot and mine was just lightly warm. We were given very small flimsy plastic forks with our food, the chicken parm was actually chicken Alfredo, they gave us the wrong order, it was so hot it MELTED the plastic fork. We asked for real silverware, and was told there was none clean. My husband was getting frustrated dealing with the wrong food and a melted plastic fork , so I switched my meal with him and took the Alfredo , and asked the girl again about silverware, she said I’ll just go wash him a fork! So she did. To top it all off there was a PIT in his salad that he bit into and has hurt his tooth, I’ll be making a dentist appointment tomorrow for that. The food was extremely mediocre, and by then we were fed up , she brought us carry out boxes, but decided it wasn’t worth it to bring it home. The waitress did the the best she could I guess. The entire place is chaotic and a mess. This used to be one of the best places on Main to Eat but may be one of the worst now. Unfortunately, we won’t be back. And by seeing the reviews, this is a common occurrence, so please don’t reply to my review with this isn’t common, please get your...

Placed an order via the publicized On-Line ordering option on the website at 3:30pm on a Sunday for a 14 inch pizza with toppings of peppers, onions, sausage, black olives, pepperonis. Arrived to pick up pizza and when the girl brought it out to me she had a funny look on her face. She opened the lid of the box and revealed all toppings on one half of the pie, the other half cheese. She asked me “Did you mean for it to be like that?” I was a bit taken back and said “No, I ordered additional toppings with them on the entire pie.” Instead of offering me any resolution, or even a simple apology for the mishap, she brusquely stated “You shouldn’t use our online ordering, you should just call. The online ordering is wacky. Just call.” To which I replied, “Well, we won’t be doing either in the future.” Still no response or apology for charging me over $20 And getting my order wrong. If the preferred method of contact between patron and restaurant is the phone, and you collect all of this contact information during the online ordering process which you refuse to take down even though it is known to be “wacky”, the restaurant should have called ME to clarify the order. The pizza was also over cooked with a hard dark crust, completely unacceptable since it was 4pm on a Sunday with no one in the restaurant. The brashy server was the icing...
