Mr. Jalapeño Easley — Restaurant in Easley

I was born and raised in Southern cali....I am sorry but this place was one of the worst Mexican restaurant i have ever been.. Cheap beef....half wet cat food and half hamburger...only fish is tilapia? I can taste cheap salsa...cheap wine...cheap cheese....(could not eat the cheese enchiladas. Cheap chips...The ppl that put 5 stars I notice never have but one or two sentences reviews....this usually means they are posing and they are FAKE reviews...Most ppl don't like elaborating on their lies...think about it... I knew something may be wrong when I showed up at around 5:45..and there was only 4 cars in the parking lot!!! But they charge expensive pricing!!! They would be laughed out of California. But they may think ppl are ignorant about Mexican food and many are and don't know the difference between decent and horrifically awful Mexican food. I don't ever give reviews but I could only get thru maybe a third to half of it...then I got up ...paid...and walked out. I always leave a good tip...but I was so disgusted at the food and the high price and the whole bad everything...I just walked out...sorry..these guys won't last long I hope...they give Mexican food a...

We visited tonight for our second time. The first time we went we weren't impressed and tonight we weren't either. Sometimes it's not just the food that brings people back. Tonight we had to ask for refills and chips and we got attitude. Then the waitress would come back and ask if everything was ok with a smile...when we would say that we needed something that smile changed. We had to ask for a knife and were brought a dirty knife! At the end of our meal we waited like 15 minutes to see our waitress to get to-go boxes and pay for our meal and she never showed her face. I took it upon myself to grab that for myself. We went here for dinner last nite we are new to the area so we were trying it and they had four stars so that was a plus.The service was good but the food and margaritas were HORRIBLE!!! I asked for verda salsa and that stuff was like water and tasted like lime juice.The food didn’t have a lot of flavor the queso taste store brought, the rice and beans were ok but lacking some flavors and no corn and carrots in the rice.The regular red salsa taste like they poured a can of tomato sauce in the container, the margarita taste like kool aid I had to ask for a shot of tequila and it still didn’t help.I am so disappointed I have drove by here a few times and seen the parking lot packed but I am trying to figure out why? Not authentic at all!!!...
