Bonefish Grill (Located in Brunswick Commons) 335 Route 18 East Brunswick, NJ 08816 Table Bread Bang Bang Shrimp Chimichurri Bistro Filet Lily’s Chicken Although this restaurant may be a chain, they doesn’t mean the food will be less than stellar. My girlfriend and I had a flawless dinner in this seafood restaurant. Table bread: The bread was served warm; I especially loved dipping the bread in the pesto filled olive oil. Bang bang shrimp: This signature appetizer was piled high and deep with shrimp with shredded lettuce at the bottom. The seafood was smothered in sweet Thai chili sauce and sriracha. Be sure to mix the lettuce with the shrimp. Chopsticks are included, but they are not necessary. Chimichurri Bistro Filet: The tender, juicy 8-ounce steak was served medium rare. Pre-slicing the steak is a great convenience because that’s one less kitchen utensil you will need.😊 The chimichurri sauce was beyond phenomenal. In addition to the steak, I also smothered it in the side dishes. Lily’s Chicken: The chicken had a variety of toppings which included goat cheese, spinach and artichokes. It was undoubtedly one of my favorite plates. It was a perfect dining experience at a seafood restaurant and we didn’t even order seafood entrées! #bonefishgrill #bonefishgrilleastbrunswick #bangbangshrimp #lilyschicken #chimichurribistrofilet

3.5 stars which equals ok/good. This was my first time trying Bonefish Grill so this review is only for the dishes I chose today. They start you with delicious bread and dipping oil to start. For appetizer I had Kung Pao Brussels Sprouts. The dipping sauce it came with was good, but I wish they gave you more of it so I can pour it over the Brussels Sprouts to give it more flavor. The appetizer overall was just ok. For dinner I had the swordfish with pumpkin ravioli. It was pretty good, and definitely much better than I anticipated for at a chain restaurant. For dessert I had the pumpkin lava cake. I was disappointed with that cake because it wasn’t filled with the cream cheese lava center as specified. Instead the cream cheese was just on a small section on top of the lava cake. The cake was kinda of dry, but overall it was decent. It would of been delicious if the center was filled with more cream cheese. Everything I had was overall ok/good, and it was pretty good for a chain restaurant. I can see myself giving this place 4 stars when I come back next time and try more dishes. If your looking for a chain restaurant to dine at Bonefish Grill in East Brunswick is a good choice.

I have to be honest...I've never been to Bonefish Grill before today. And honestly, I was so pleasantly surprised by all that I tried. Their watermelon cocktail was DELISH. The watermelon skewer it came with was frozen and a delicious treat that I definitely wanted seconds of. The appetizers consisted of their bang bang shrimp, calamari, wagyu beef sliders, and fresh bread with dipping olive oil. Those were all tasty and enjoyed them very much! Dinner was served a Riesling sort of on the sweet side but not so much it didn't pair well with the entree. The entree was a salmon topped with blue cheese and spinach. The blue cheese wasnt everyone's favorite as it was a bit too overpowering with the fish. The rice that it was served with was very lovely and perfectly cooked consistency wise. Dessert was a warm brownie served with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream and a raspberry drizzle. Dessert was also served with an espresso martini. Most folks didn't seem to enjoy the espresso martini much as it was a bit too bitter than it had flavor. After this visit to bonefish I definitely would consider coming back again maybe for one of their happy hours!

As many times I have been at this location. I have never experienced such an embarrassing moment until Friday 10/11/24. On that Friday my friends & I decided to go enjoy ourselves after work and so we headed to the establishment for happy hr. ( food & drinks ). While the three of us were sitting at the bar enjoying each other’s company, one of my friends ordered another round of cocktails for us. Next thing we know the manager approaches us stating they can no longer serve us. So we ask, “Why Not”. The manager stated that the bartender came to her about, the amount of drinks we ordered. Did I mention there were three of us and each person had three drinks a piece as well as food. We did not disturb anyone nor did we act out of control. At that point, we paid our bill and left. While leaving, the manager ran outside behind us to apologize & stated from her observation we clearly was fine and was enjoying ourselves and not causing any problems. So, I asked her then why didn’t she speak to the bartender on our behalf and let her know we were fine. But instead she kept apologizing and then offered us a gift card to come back. My friends & I were very upset, embarrassed, and felt targeted for the way we were treated especially because there were other people there drinking and dining. I hope what happened to us doesn’t happen to anyone else. But that experience left me feeling I don’t ever what to dine at another Bone Fish Grill again and don’t want any one of my loved ones to dine there...

Bonefish is a nice place to go if you're not looking to split the atom, want a friendly, hospitable staff and reliably decent food. I personally don't find Bonefish Grill especially disruptive to the rather ordinary persona perpetuated by mid-level franchise alternatives to places like Friday's and Applebee's. While I would concede that my experiences at places like TGIF and Applebee's are as dependably disappointing, which is why I don't go to those places, bone Fish Grill could do more with the food to truly elevate to let's say a Season 52 level of experience. Season 52 isn't exactly setting the world on fire either, but in my experience, there appears to be more attention given to a diverse, seasonal menu.

I did not, nor have I ever been given their Angler service. In their defense however, I sit at their bar when I dine there. I don't know if the Angler service is limited to their dining room service, but I have ordered fishes dishes from them and no one ever approached me to advise me on the best fish choice.

I gave bonefish Grill 3 of 5 stars largely, if not entirely, because I find it a good places to gather for a bite with a date or friend, when neither of you wants to grapple with bigger, loftier questions like, "where can I find a truly sensational dining experience tonight?" Given the scarcity of such options, in the meantime, there's Bonefish Grill, which reliably offers a good, fresh mean, served by hospitable, friendly and...

Although this restaurant may be a chain, they doesn’t mean the food will be less than stellar.

My girlfriend and I had a flawless dinner in this seafood restaurant.

Be sure to mix the lettuce with the shrimp.

Pre-slicing the steak is a great convenience because that’s one less kitchen utensil you will need.😊

The chimichurri sauce was beyond phenomenal. In addition to the steak, I also smothered it in the side dishes.
