Disgruntled worker Jennifer rage!!Do not go here if yourself or your child has a disability or if you’re looking for Cookie Monster ice cream

My daughter and I went to this ice cream parlor today because we heard good things about it. We were looking for cookie monster ice cream. I was working on my computer trying to respond to a email when it died. While in line I plugged my computer into the outlet at the ice cream shop and asked my daughter to stand in line to order. She became anxious and did not want to place the order so I approached the window. I was told they did not serve cookie monster ice cream. Just as we were about to leave disgruntled worker, Jennifer told me I can’t use the outlet, unplug my computer now. Before I had time to even process what she said, she slammed her hand on the counter and said”TODAY”. I told her to give me one minute she responded saying you could unplug it now or I can come do it for you. I told her I didn’t appreciate her tone, and how she was speaking to me. This woman was in raged, stormed out of the building, walking towards me very quickly and violently. She invaded my personal space, standing aggressively literally 2 inches away from my face and proceeded to speak to me in a disrespectful tone. I put up my hand signaling her to STOP and not to come any closer because I felt uncomfortable and asked the woman why she was consistently speaking to me in a disrespectful tone she said because I asked you multiple times and you act like you didn’t hear me. I told the woman I have ADHD, and she didn’t give me time to even process or to react.

If I could give this place, zero stars, I would. Employee Jennifer is a poor role model, to the teenage staff working there who seemed frightened. My daughter was also scared. She displayed anger,lack of self-control and also unnecessary, aggressive behavior. there was also other children present in the area.I urge the owner of this establishment to review the camera footage to see how the employee ran out of the ice cream parlor and approached me invading my personal space. I acknowledge the fact that I should not have plugged in my computer without asking however, I did not deserved the treatment or disrespect that Karen a.k.a., Jennifer gave me as a consumer. The conflict could have been solved with patience, less aggression and better communication.

There is No sign posted stating you cannot touch or use outlet. The outlet is in a open area easily accessible...

This incident occurred on May 17, 2022. I am sadden by the behavior of the owner's daughter who spoke in a condescending and disrespectful manner to my daughter who has a traumatic brain injury. With an elevated voice she said to my daughter "you have to walk around the rope maze. There was absolutely no one on line at the time. She followed my daughter inside yelling "you got to walk around the rope maze." I intervened and said to her "this is not how you speak to a customer." I asked to speak to the owner and she stated "I am the owner." She then went inside and started to tell each person who was working about the incident while looking at us through the glass. I could not understand the harshness and unprofessionalism of her behavior. Was it because we are African American? Or is it in line with why we never saw an African American working there? I recommend customer service training for the owner's daughter. It is unfortunate that the owner's daughter has tarnished the enjoyment of buying ice cream from Magnifico's. My family and friends were customers for over 10 years and never had such a horrific experience than the experience with the owner's daughter. The photo attached show the rope maze as being empty. This is out-of-the-way for us, but we brought another couple with us for shopping about 15 minutes South. We all miss the toasted almond bars that Good Humor used to make and came upon this place doing a Google search. For those on a similar quest, please be aware that the toasted almond bars are only made to order in advance and in a quantity of 12 or more. We opted for the next best thing, which is the toasted almond crunch in a cup of soft serve vanilla. The texture is much more crunchy than the classic Good Humor version and the bits are a little larger, but the taste is very close. We all ran out of the toast almond crunch topping long before the ice cream. Our thought for a future visit is to get this in an Arctic Swirl to have it more evenly distributed. Would also be great if they had an almond flavored ice cream to go with this. Other items on the menu looked amazing, especially the cakes. The odd person out on this trip had a warm waffle sandwich.
