El Burrito — Restaurant in East Ellijay

Enjoyed at original location. New 2 family purchased. Have their kids, underage taking orders and running register. Rude. Don't care.. food always wrong and taste like generic salsa. used to be oversized and great. Last 3 years tho, the ebt/snap abuse and rude treatment of customers has made it a no go to place. Will not return. Watching the wives, the teenage kids fill up buggies of cornmeal, jarred sauces, canned cheeses, worst meat, veggies and use ebt card, then watch them bring into resturaunt to cook and sell...is highly illegal and abuse of govt, avoiding taxation, and clearly violates all laws for snap/eat. Abuse completely of what that card is needed for. There are many needy families born and raised or lived in county that are citizens yet cannot get food help since soo many people. the thousands of these families receive monthly. Plus, freeHealthcare, education, college, guaranteedloans, heat ,electric,and rent assistance.loans for cars loans for business. While men work other jobs not paying taxes. They'll run business of food purchased from taxpayers.The taxpayers cannot recieve same perks. They are not the only establishment in ellijay doing this. The health inspector as well as code enforcement, and county tax assessors should go do full investigation of books. The supplemental food program is for those who need it, not free food at tax payers expense to overcharge...

Seriously the most flavorless Mexican food I've ever eaten. $27 for a burrito...ground beef rice with only thing in it no flavor whatsoever ground beef and rice. Burrito no tomatoes no cheese or beans got rice and ground beef boring with no flavor.

We ordered a beef chimichanga plate with rice and beans we got a chicken chimichanga..NO SPICES USED. the beans were so watery my little girl asked me what is this oily stuff could not tell it was beans she said that chimichanga keeps it from going into the rice :-)

Seriously that was the worst Mexican food I've had and I eat out every day somewhere all over the East Coast... IT TASTES BETTER IF YOU BOUGHT FROZEN BURRITOS AT YOUR HOUSE MICROWAVE THEM AND PUT SOUR CREAM AND SALSA ON IT.. THIS WAS THE MOST FLAVORLESS MEXICAN FOOD...

Pleasantly surprised with our meal at the El Burrido, in Elijay GA. They capture the fresh flavors of Mexico. The service is top notch and care about customer satisfaction. This is evident by the quality of people coming through the door beginning greeted with familiar smiles. When I came out the door I met a man that said El Burrido was the best in town. Fun place kinda reminded me of the Cheers bar where everybody knows your name. Hard to find good food at a decent price now days. Here you get good quality food, decent portions at great prices. And great service with 5 hearts. I definitely will come back again and recommend to anyone interested...
