Mama's Pizza East Hartford — Restaurant in East Hartford

I ordered a Large spinach & ricotta pie tonight and it had been delivered to my house after 1 hour of ordering it. The amount of time didn't bother me as it's black Friday and I'm sure plenty of people are eating out tonight. The problem is the pizza came to my door and it was cold... and by cold I mean the cheese was no longer soft, it was hard. It's a noticeable difference.... now even that isn't a huge deal but I called the restaurant to let them know what happened. Maybe they could fix their process along the way. The first woman picked up the phone and I explained what happened. She seemed to think I wanted to order a pizza and did not grasp the fact that I just received a cold one. So I asked for the manager.... someone else came on the phone and I explained what happened again... cold pizza. This individual was full of attitude and told me there was no way i received a cold pizza and that it must have been hot when it was delivered... he definitely didn't want to try and rectify the situation after I assured him the pizza was cold on arrival yet he still maintained the notion that I got a hot pizza.... I'm not even sure if he was the manager or not but Mama's Pizza really needs to retrain their staff for...

We used to order from here all the time...stayed very loyal as the food was good and the take out special on a cheese pizza was great for the kids. The menu still advertises the special, but now they do not honor it. My fiance ordered a burger with an egg added and was specific that he did not want any pickles. He received a burger with no egg (probably still paid for it) and pickles on the burger. The pickle juice made the buns and fries soggy and barely edible. The potato skins were palatable, but the smallest I've ever seen. The cheese pizza was burnt. I ordered soup because I'm not feeling well and and the "chicken noodle" was ramen with a bit of chicken and tomatoes. Honestly I tried and couldn't eat it. The soup was also put into a tin take out container which soaked the entire order. Those containers are not made for liquid! My fiance called back to explain the experience and was told he could have a free soda next time. He hung up and they called back to offer a small free pizza with next order. Honestly, I don't think we will be taking them up on it as that was probably the last time we order from them. I'm so disappointed that this place I loved has turned in the wrong direction. After an hour and a half of waiting for a SMALL pizza I receive it cold and can’t eat it. At the one hour mark I call the restaurant to inquire about my order and not only was I put on hold for several minutes but when the girl got on the phone she said the driver informed her that he was at my house. HE WAS NOT. He literally showed up 30 minutes later with food that was not edible. I don’t know if the restaurant changed ownership or what but the restaurant has gone down hill. I also have several family members that used to order once a week and have said the quality of food has lessened and the customer service is atrocious. Safe to say, I will not be...
