I cannot say enough amazing things about Danny the manager at the Wendy’s on 65 Frontage Rd. in East Haven. Every single visit, he goes above and beyond to make sure my order is perfect — not just once in a while, but every single time. He is thoughtful, attentive, and incredibly personable. You can truly see the love and care he puts into his work.
What really stands out is how much he remembers and values his customers. Danny now knows my order by heart, and he always greets me with kindness and warmth that makes the experience so much more than just grabbing food. He’s sweet, professional, and has a genuine way of making people feel appreciated.
On top of that, he runs the entire team with impressive leadership. The restaurant always feels organized, smooth, and welcoming when Danny is managing. His presence is the difference-maker — he sets the tone, motivates his team, and keeps everything moving like clockwork.
It’s rare to find someone in fast food who treats their job with such pride, but Danny is proof that excellent customer service still exists. He elevates the Wendy’s experience, and he’s the reason I keep coming back. Wendy’s is truly lucky to have someone like him representing the brand.

Read moreTerrible experience. In the middle of our order St the drive through, insanely loud music started playing through their speaker making it impossible to order. Once the music stopped, the cashier laughed about it for so long that we considered just leaving.
Once we attempted to place our order, it took the better part of five minutes because the cashier was incapable of understanding that two of an order meant that we wanted more than one.
Upon making it to the window, finally, we were greeted with a bad attitude and an incomplete order.
We then we're forced to wait almost five minutes while listening to the incomplete cashier fail to take orders behind us properly before we were able ask for the rest of the order that we paid for, that they didn't include.

The young woman giving us our order shoved everything in ONE small bag and it was very stuffed so I wasn’t able to make sure all our items were in there before pulling off. As we parked right next door we had missing fries and nuggets. We circled back around since the door was locked and when we told her she accused us of lying and told us that she gave us 2 bags, one bag with just burgers and another bag with the fries and nuggets which clearly everyone was even confused on why she stuffed our ONE bag we received. She kept saying she gave us multiple bags and that she gave us everything really fighting to give up a small fry and 4 piece that she forgot.
