I've come to this DQ many times and never had any issues with the food or customer service. Yesterday my roommate and I were in town and decided Dairy Queen would be the best place for a quick meal. My roommate ordered onion rings instead of fries in the sauced tenders basket, and when we checked both combos, both had fries. No big deal, we just went inside to get the onion rings and told the person at the register we didn't want to be a bother, we just needed the onion rings we ordered. The cashier took the entire box and said "Okay, we'll remake this for you." I tried to clarify that they didn't need to remake the whole meal, we were just missing the onion rings, but I was ignored. We then waited for them to remake the entire meal, and the whole time we heard employees complaining in the back about us asking for the onion rings, with the man making our order continually glaring at us and loudly complaining through the open kitchen. This was completely unacceptable. Having worked in food service in the past, and currently still working in customer service, I know when customers are being difficult, and we were not. We were polite, and hesitant to even go in and ask for the onion rings in the first place. We did not deserve this treatment at all, nor did they need to remake the entire meal. One employee (she may have been a manager) was very sweet and I could tell she felt bad about the whole situation, but as far as I know nothing was done about the rude behavior of the other employees here, and we were not offered any sort of apology or compensation for having to deal with this. It will be a long time before I return to this DQ, which is a shame, because I never had a negative experience here prior to...
Read moreEvery time I come here it's a problem, they forget a sandwich, or the fries, every time they forget the dipping sauce, o they don't for get to charge you for it, you just never get it. This time it's the cook, 9/10 he's good gets everything right but this time I think it's personal. He has been here for years but this time they had a new cashier and as she's taking my order he's glaring at me, then when I get the sandwich he put one small tomato on it, I order it no tomatoes no lettuce burn the bacon, well what I got was No lettuce (good) one small 1" of bacon raw and cold, and one tomato. So if he didn't hear right then why only one, or he did hear and put one on anyway and covered it in a sauce I have never seen before so it was harder to see. Anyway, good going sir, I was sick for three days after I had just one small bite. If you can't handle your little sister/girlfriend? Mother? Talking to costumers to get their order, you're in the wrong business. We will not be back till I see this place got NEW STAFF! Why trust any of them now and at...
Read moreWent in and bought a mini blizzard cake. My husband had cut into it and when he gave me mine I realized it had been labeled wrong. (Wanted cookie dough and got Reeseâs cup) I called and was nice about it and asked if I could come tomorrow and get the one I wanted. The girl who I spoke with said well you would have to pay full price ($14.99)...I said it was labeled wrong, not my fault. She put me on hold and said the manager said I could get 50% off. I was not happy because again it wasnât my fault..she then told me âI get it was labeled wrong but you should have been able to tell by the top of it.â It was a small cake with a sticker that covered the entire lid with a label on that that said cookie dough. I ended up going back and asked for the manager who ended up giving me the cake I wanted. I totally understand that mistakes happen and all I wanted was to have it made right. I own a business myself and maybe itâs just me, but you should make it right with the customer. I should have not been given attitude when they were the one that made...
