Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in East Lampeter Township

A few months ago, in fact, nearly a year ago, I left a harsh review. It was quoting Gordon Ramsey with "RAW!" Which, while I will say I believe my chicken was a little raw that time, I do believe that the review was mean. So I deleted the review, and now I am here to make a serious review of this restaurant and to apologize to Popeyes for my behavior.

For starters, I got Boneless garlic parm chicken bites, fries, a diet coke, and a mashed potato bowl. Keep in mind, the fries were large, I believe, and just what the chimbley guys? (Image below) Second, on the topic of the fries, I hate to be nitpicking, but they tasted like if you were to put fries into an air fryer and take them out just a little too early. If you know, you know. Moving on, I don't have much to say about the soda. It was fine. About what you'd expect from a diet coke. Moving onto the chicken, possibly the best part of this meal. They weren't raw like last time, which is amazing. I felt so insanely happy about that. Thanks, guys. My only negative thing to say is that yall sauced it so much that when I was about 3/4 of the way through, I was so sick of the greasy sauce. But that's a small thing. I don't mind.

Lastly, the mashed potatoes. Don't take this personally from the restaurant, as this is just a thing with Popeyes in general, but that "mashed potato" is exactly what someone would describe as resident evil food. Good god, it was like I was stabbing a baby's soft spot on the head and eating its brains. Whatever Popeyes uses for its mashed taters falls just barely short of wolf doo doo.

Overall, don't eat the mashed potatoes. Couldn't finish them. The staff is awesome sauce. Most importantly, don't attack this individual restaurant. They're doing the best they can. The Popeyes chain itself has never really set with me. But that's just my opinion. Sorry, I was harsh in the past. I'm a little lighter this time. I do not recommend this location.

My experience here was disappointing from start to finish. Despite being the only customer at the time, the staff rushed me through the drive-thru. One employee handed me a drink before I even pulled forward, while I still had my payment in hand. It felt inconsiderate and left me fumbling with everything.

A male employee leaned over the cashier to hand me my food bag in a hurried manner, which felt intrusive. On top of the uncomfortable interaction, my order was incorrect. I was missing the biscuits that came with my meals, and I didn’t realize until I had already left. Additionally, my frozen strawberry lemonade wasn’t stirred, and we were not given any utensils for our sides.

I ordered:

2 beans and rice

1 mashed potato

1 macaroni & cheese

What I received:

2 macaroni & cheese

1 mashed potato

1 beans and rice

To make matters worse, the attitude of the employees made me uncomfortable enough that I didn’t want to return to fix the order. I even tried another Popeyes nearby, but they informed me they were unaffiliated.

Overall, I felt rushed, unwelcome, and dissatisfied with both the service and the accuracy of my order. I hope management takes this seriously and makes...

Okay so i ordered a mobile order, pull up and tell them they tell me pull around. I pull up and manager says “it’ll be 3-5 minutes for the beignets” i was fine with waiting as he directed me towards a spot to wait for them to bring it out. I waited 10 minutes so i hop out of my car and go in. Infuriated by seeing all the people on their phones in the back while my order isn’t served i demanded my order but in a nice manner. They apologized and i was like OK whatever as long as its good. I get back with me and my wifes food and my chicken sandwich is ice cold! Her food was warm at most and the beignets were soaked in oil not fried enough. Oh and i forgot they forget the sauce so i bad to walk back again inside to get it. Omg like mobile orders and drive thru is my life saver on having to deal with waits or mishaps on what was said.
