I had the pleasure of visiting River Street Sweets recently, and it was nothing short of an extraordinary experience. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the strawberry cheesecake gelato, which was a perfect blend of creamy indulgence and the delightful essence of fresh strawberries.
What truly set this ice cream parlor apart was its impressive selection of local chocolates. I had the opportunity to taste a variety of chocolates, each uniquely crafted and showcasing the rich flavors of the region. It was a delightful journey through the local chocolate scene, leaving me with a newfound appreciation for the artistry and quality of these confections.
Beyond the delectable treats, the ambiance of River Street Sweets was captivating. The fragrance that enveloped the shop was nothing short of outstanding, creating an inviting atmosphere that heightened the overall sensory experience. The moment I stepped in, I was greeted by the alluring aroma, setting the stage for a memorable visit.
The staff at River Street Sweets were not just employees; they were warm, friendly individuals who added a personal touch to the entire experience. Their enthusiasm and helpfulness made the visit even more enjoyable, and their knowledge about the different offerings reflected a genuine passion for their craft.
Whether you're a local or a visitor, this ice cream parlor is a must-visit for anyone seeking an exceptional treat for the taste buds and a welcoming environment for the soul. Highly...
Read morePersonally this place ruined candy for me for awhile. I did not enjoy any of the $47+ dollars we spent here and the household’s conclusion was the only thing worthwhile here is the white chocolate cashews. Which are literally just cashews white white chocolate poured around them. Everyone of the truffles were horrible, the chocolate coating was WAY too thick you couldn’t tasteany of the filling of any of the 10 truffles we got we tossed out 3 of them. I just don’t understand how you could call your place a candy shop if you literally just dip things in flavorless chalky chocolate which ended up being half our order. The marshmallows on a stick were literally just bagged marshmallows dipped in half an inch of chocolate, the s’mores squares were two graham cracker squares with the worlds hardest marshmallow smushed between it dipped in that nasty chocolate. I’m trying not to be mean but I hated everything we got. I could have made everything here for a fraction of the price and it would have actually tasted good. I have never in my life seen 12 year olds flee from candy so...
Read moreEvery time that I go to the Tanger Outlets I almost always stop inside of here. The shop has a very sweet, popcorn smell the minute you walk past it from the outside so you can't help but want to go in! The popcorn is always fresh and is very good, it's a nice little snack to have as you shop around. I never got around to trying the chocolates only because there is always a ton of people surrounding that area so the wait is a little longer than I personally prefer, however, there's a nice assortment available and plenty of options. They also have a whole shelf of just different types of candied apples and sweet nuts on the back right wall. The real gem is In the back, where there is gelato. I LOVE the gelato and my favorite is the coconut gelato. It is a little pricey for just a scoop but taste and quality at least pull through to justify. If you are in the outlets, I recommend to stop by and try their...
