Read moreFor starters- LaVeena was INCREDIBLY professional. She did a better job at handling a situation than the store manager did!!! An incident arose where my husband and I were purchasing 2 chairs that we had picked up and brought to the front counter to purchase. LaVeena was having the conversation with us about an employee bringing the chairs out to our vehicle. All of a sudden, another customer comes over and states she was purchasing the chairs (even though the chairs were on the floor and WE brought them to the register). LaVeena explained that the chairs were already being purchased by us and the other customer demanded that she was already buying them!!!! I asked to speak to a manager whose exact name was Guenna Wright. She said the other customer took the tag off and was carrying the tag around. That other customer did not make any employees aware of this and Guenna said since she had the tag, it was hers. For being a store manager, Guenna handled this situation in the least professional way possible upon first contact with her and ultimately, her attitude towards customers. In all honesty, she shouldn’t have sold the chairs to either customer to be fair. Additionally, LaVeena continued to apologize to me and said she was shocked with how that situation ended in the other customers favor. We drove more than 90 minutes from Baltimore with our three small children to come to the store and were told - extremely rudely - that we would not be allowed in, even though we were there shortly after 6pm. What was incredibly disappointing is that we have been very loyal repeat customers of the PB Outlet for several years. In fact, we were in the old store the week they closed at Rockvale. Both the gentleman at the door, and the manager with whom we spoke on the phone, Angie, were completely unapologetic, rude, and offered no concession for being unable to shop during the store’a open hours (for example, they did not offer to give a voucher to bypass a line in the future, etc). Angie’s recommendation was to come during the week. Great, thanks. All in all, a very disappointing and unfriendly experience.
