When we arrived the lobby was a mess. Several male employees were gathered around the cafe area harassing a female employee. There was trash and packages all over. The staff seemed to all be young and immature when someone finally helped us out they had anime playing on their phone the whole time. We were interrupting their show. We went swimming and the pool was quite dirty. Clusters of false eyelashes floating around in the water. We used the little splash playground which seemed very nice. My only complaint about that was how hot the turf got. It severely burned our feet. It was hotter than the general pavement outside which I found odd considering that area was for small children. When we got to our room they must had given us the oldest room they had which appeared to have possibly had the sprinklers gone off at some point or another. The room itself smelled musty, the wallpaper was peeling and the bathroom door was chipping with paint. We found an empty box of royal farms chicken under our nightstand and were surprised to see that the mattress was not encased with a protector for bedbugs. I always check whenever I stay at a hotel. The lid to the control panel of the ac was broken and the air would not come on. We woke up very hot and sweaty. We had a king room but the bed had a dip and sunken in the middle which made for us to wake up with stiff backs. The shower had no water pressure and you could hear any slightest sound in the hallway or next door like it was practically in the room with you. We took our child to the indoor play area and were appalled at the state of shambles the room seemed to be in. Holes in the drywall, tears in the seating taped up, trash and empty water bottles scattered about and an empty hand sanitizer on the wall that had not been refilled since who knows when. When checked out we expressed these concerns to staff who said a manager would be in touch. I called to follow up and the manager said he would call me back later. Never got that call, suppose we should have made more of a fuss while we were there but traveling with young children we just wanted to make it through the night. I made the reservation through booking.com total cost for king room was 265$ but the charge on my card came out to be 295$. Not sure what that is about either. Don’t waste your money on this facility, the service is incredibly flat and the facility is not properly maintained. The experience is far from worth the price and we’ve always had good experiences with Wyndham. Not this one.

My husband and I travel a fair amount (using Airbnb, hotels etc) this was by far the sketchiest hotel I have ever seen. I couldn’t tell if it was under renovation or just that old that it was in complete disrepair. Hotels almost always have access to local TV( either cable, satellite, something) while the rooms had TVs there was absolutely no programming at all. My coat closet at home is larger than the bathroom in this hotel room. Upon check in we were told to enter at door B, our room was clear around the other side of this building from that entrance. Apparently we had an adjoining room, because the poor infant in the other room cried all night long. Upon entering the room I found it to be dirty, not clean smelling (musky in fact) oh and HOT. Not even welcoming. Husband tired for hours to get the room cooled down but the unit for the room sounded like a single prop plane. The rooms also did not have any information on what the hotel had to offer. Went down to the bar/restaurant bartender was amazing, great personality and just had good vibes. We decided to have a beer and just order from their menu wings were great husband ordered crab cake sandwich and fries crab cake was the size of a sausage patty (we are originally from MD so it was disappointing as to fillers and size) fries were good. Finally tried to get a little sleep NOPE between the single prop plane(ac unit) on and off on and off but not cooling, the crying baby, and the lights coming in from the cracks around door, we got up early and headed home. When I got out of the shower before leaving I noticed this on the mirror the round void in the mirror kind of bothered me a bit. I have stayed at many beautiful Wyndham resorts all over this location should be embarrassed to even promote themselves as a Wyndham property.

Absolutely Disgusting and a Total Rip-Off – Never Again! I don't even know where to start because our stay was a nightmare from the moment we walked in. The convention center was okay. Our room was filthy — grime built up in the shower, stained floors, and tables that looked like they hadn't been wiped down in months. To make matters worse, there was no manager available at any point to address these issues — apparently, management just doesn't exist at this Wyndham. We paid an extra $50 for extended checkout, only to have our keys deactivated at 11 a.m. anyway. What exactly were we paying for?! On top of that, we were charged $30 for a rollout bed after being told it would only be $20. Nothing but scams and hidden fees everywhere you turn. The dining experience was even worse. The server literally handled our hot dogs and buns with his bare hands — no gloves, no utensils — just his bare hands. Absolutely revolting. And to top it off, my husband found a *long arm hair* in his frappe. I'm gagging just thinking about it. This was by far the worst hotel experience we've ever had — and to add insult to injury, it was outrageously expensive. Wyndham should be ashamed to have their name attached to this disaster. I wouldn't stay here again if they paid me. Save your money and your sanity — stay anywhere else.

Very disappointed in this hotel and their customer service. The hotel looks very nice and inviting from the outside and is located in a gray area with lots of food and shopping around it. Once inside it's a whole other story. The check in desk is not near by to the front lobby doors. I walked down a long corridor and found a few white desks with people sitting behind them staring at their phones. None of the guest check in associates greeted me and I had to ask if this was where I check in. There was no way of knowing they worked for the hotel or what their role was. I had called a few days ahead of time to confirm our reservations and we had four rooms reserved for our stay. The lady I spoke with confirmed our reservations and I had asked her if it would be possible for all of our rooms to be on the same floor didn't have to be next to each other, but at least on the same floor would be nice. She said she would accommodate that and notate that on our room reservations. Once we arrived to check-in, we were all placed in not only different floors but different sections of the building, some of us had to get back in our cars and drive to Other Sides of the Building to get to Our Rooms. We had elderly people with walkers, crutches and a knee scooter, and they were not accommodating at all to make sure that those people were placed in areas where stairs would not be a problem for them. When I tried to speak to the front desk associate about this.He was very nonchalant. He did not care about my concern at all and only offered to readjust our rooms and place us all in what he called the basement level and let me know that those rooms were less than quality rooms and that I probably wouldn't like those rooms. When I asked to speak with a manager, he did not get up to go find a manager. He just simply looked around the lobby and said, I don't see a manager here right now. I stood there for a few minutes in disbelief. And luckily during that time, the manager actually did walk up to the front and then came over to address my concerns but he also was very rude, cut me off when I was trying to speak and let me know that they would handle my concerns internally but there was nothing they could do for me to compensate. When I pressed the issue of compensation, he offered to downgrade my room since we had paid for a What they called a premium room and place me in the same building as my parents in my aunt's rooms, but they would not give me a refund for downgrading my room. I let him know that was not okay and asked him. What his other compensation options were and he then told me that he could offer me free breakfast at the hotel, which I was okay with, but then I asked if it was for all four of our rooms and he said, no, it was just for me individually. I finally just left it alone at that point.Because I could see that there was not a win win solution for myself. So I left the desk, went to my room and found the room was very dated, not very clean and had no additional blankets available for the pull out couch that my six year old was going to be sleeping on. We had to leave the hotel pretty quickly to go to dinner for a reservation. But on my way to the reservation I called the hotel 3 times and was hung up on each time when we were at the restaurant. I called another time. Nobody ever answered it. Just kept ringing and ringing. And then I called 2 more times after we left the restaurant. Finally, they answered for me to be able to request Additional towels and pillows be brought to each of our rooms. Overall, I would not...

Exceptional Hotel – Prime Location, Fantastic Accommodations, Comfortable Large Rooms, Lavishly Appointed Suites & Exceptional Service

I have stayed at the luxurious, totally renovated with high end upgraded quality finishes in the 317 room New Wyndham Lancaster Resort and Convention Center in Lancaster, PA in December 2022 for the Christmas show at American Music Theater and recently for my family reunion on the weekend of August 18th 2023. Wyndham is also the only hotel resort with a well maintained 18-hole golf course.

It’s always a pleasant surprise upon arrival being a hotel developer myself, I find the property to be in a prime central location on Lincoln Highway in the center of the action with Dutch Wonderland directly across the street, Tanger Outlet next to the hotel conveniently located to many fabulous restaurants and shopping venues all within a 1-mile drive.

When I was a very young boy, my parents would take us to this hotel back in 1966 when it was first built under the name Host Farm / Host Coral was host to super stars of the era such as; Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr, comedian Don Rickles and many other celebrities. Host Coral became Lancaster Host Resort in the 1980’s. Back in 1966, Lancaster was basically all farm land on Lincoln Highway. Fast track 57 years to 2023, Wyndham Lancaster Resort and Convention Center and Lincoln Highway location has gone through an unbelievable transformation to become a true-destinations with all the amenities one can expect.

Once inside the spacious large hotel property, you would feel more at a beautiful opulent country hotel resort rather than a typical Hilton or Marriott Hotel with its charming modern character, beautiful lobby, outdoor swimming pool and hot tub for all guests to enjoy in addition to the new indoor swimming pool. The staff and attendants were outstanding and very accommodating. Plush padded carpeting throughout, the suites and rooms are large, all new furniture, very comfortable King beds with Memory Foam mattresses, LED Flat Screen TV’s, clean and quiet. The new outdoor pool is refreshing and high energy with good music for all guests to celebrate.

The breakfast was very tasty with made to order fresh omelets at the omelet bar with a generous assortment of breakfast treats to satisfied most travelers. I especially thank the owner who genuinely cares about his patrons being happy with their experiences and Nathan the GM / Director of Front Office whom I had the pleasure of meeting on several occasions who were gracious, went out of their way to insure we had a great experience. If I could give this hotel a 6 star I would base on the fantastic service, outstanding central convenient location, fantastic breakfast assortment, cleanliness of the property, comfortable rooms and suites.

We had booked 4 rooms. My family and I truly had a wonderful stay, I would definitely stay here again and highly recommended this treasure of a property to my family and friends for the ultimate hospitality...

Lefty was very helpful!  He has a great sense of humor and was kind to help us to our room.  It was quite confusing to get to our suite.  It may be helpful to include some verbiage  in confirmation email to guests who reserve a suite.  It could prepare future guests that have a big family with small children that their suite may not be in the main building of hotel.  I was in Room 428 and that required me to walk to the main building to retrieve a luggage trolley.  If it was raining this would've been an epic fail especially since it is impossible to walk inside and through the hotel to my room with the trolley.  This should be corrected in my opinion.  The B corridor was out of order the first two days upon arrival, so we had to use the C corridor to reach our room.  With our room being 428, I expected it to be on the fourth floor,  it was on the second floor instead.  Quite confusing.  Also the refrigerator didn't properly work in my eyes.  I phoned the first desk and an employee advised they all work that way; meaning they only cool to a certain degree. That's unacceptable.  The fridge in the sitting area was cooler than the fridge in the room.  The one in the room was warmer.  A freezer option would've been more convenient too.  Having to pay over a thousand dollars for our stay and not have adequate amenities was quite disappointing.  Bedding wasn't included in the room for the sleeper sofa.  When I called during the day to request them, housekeeping never brought them.  My husband had to go to the front desk to retrieve them.  Overall the property is beautiful and we look forward to visiting again. Hopefully the traffic will be able to exit through to the shops as the traffic was terrible during our stay for the covid vaccine clinic.  Also the size was of the suite was the perfect size for our family of six; as well as having an extra bathroom.  Having a microwave in the suite was a plus and came in handy.  The only downside to that was the fact that the microwave didn't include the glass turntable.  That was weird.  Lastly, some of the first desk staff look like they just walked off the street to work.  I loved seeing the diversity of employees, however if they business or an upgrade to their professional attire with set them apart and match the caliber and ambiance of the hotel.   Is there a standard for their speech?  Employees outside of management, should use professional speech and exhibit proper behaviors when interacting with guests and each other. Unfortunately, I witnessed your front desk employees not wearing their masks and being on their phone.  I'm fine if they're on their phone, however it shouldn't be visible to guests.  I want to see you guys excel in your servitude.  As I stated before, I look forward to...
