This review is for the Langhorne PA location.
Worst Chipotle I've ever been to. I've ordered from this location over the span of 3 years and almost every time was negative apart from a few solid marks.
-You never know what you're going to get as far as ingredient proportions. One day you might get a huge glob of tomatoes and sour cream, other times you get a pound of rice with no cheese. They can't even wrap a burrito if their life depended on it.
I've gotten sick on two separate occasions immediately after I had the burrito.
My first 2 orders ever was a family order where we each got double meat. There was less meat than a normal burrito on all of them. I dropped 60 dollars on that order and drove all the way back to the location. I explained to the manager the situation and not only did he not have any empathy whatsoever, he actually took an opposing stance to the obvious subpar food that was produced. He literally offered no solution whatsoever and just made a bunch of excuses. I walked away from that feeling like he was trying to say that it was somehow my fault even though the ordering was absolutely correct. He was rude and was totally oblivious to the problems in his kitchen.
Their location was understaffed last year for a looong time making waits horrible. They had a help wanted sign up for a while. They were also understaffed during the pandemic but I will give them the benefit of the doubt. Regardless, it's a bad sign.
When you have a manager that just gives customers the cold shoulder and you have several mounting reviews giving you a 2.7 star rating on Google, I believe corporate intervention is necessary to turn this location around. This is such a poor quality experience for the price point they're demanding. Getting sick from their food and inconsistent portion ingredients tells me there's no standards or discipline in that kitchen. That manager is a joke reminiscent of a Kitchen Nightmares episode. Completely oblivious of the issues and too prideful to accept feedback. I think this location needs a fresh start.
I would hope that Chipotle corporate does read this review. This is a review spanning from 3 years of order experiences. I love the Chipotle franchise and its a shame to have a location run with such low standards and having an excellent ingredient lineup be butchered by poorly trained/skilled labor. Sorry for the long review but like I said, it's been a long...
Read moreI would say it's not a horrible place depending on the people who work there, and time of day you arrive. Some of them keep the work area very clean and some keep it a mess as the day go by, considering how busy it gets from time to time. Some also actually work a bit slow, but hopefully with a bit more skill the line will move along quicker. It would be great if they had a whole day off in the week to get everything stocked, organized, and cleaned. Just so they don't run out of ingredients and dishes too often and such. Along with hiring more people and training them appropriately, considering they are extremely understaffed it's a bit of a mess. When it's lunch hour it gets crowded and since they're understaffed it doesn't go quickly as it should be. I would say around that time it gets prettt bad. So all we could do is be patient with them as they make our food. At times there are mistakes here or there but I'd assume they're new. That's one of the main reasons why it's not running as it should be. Plus the store itself has a couple problems, from the ice machine up front not giving out ice. Which I wish it would. Overall it's still a new store so hopefully it'll improve and that the employees will continue to...
Read moreI am not in any way shape or form a complainer. I am not looking to get reimbursed or a free next meal. I used to cringe at the tiktok videos of people filming the crew make the food. I understand why they do it now. Its no secret last year Chipotle made close to 10 billion dollars. With a generous tip my lunch today was almost 22 dollars for a burrito bowl. The bowl consisted of a decent serving of rice topped with 2 pieces of chicken and a glob of guac. The food isnt bad but they just dont give you anything. Two pieces of chcken? Not even a spoon full. If I am paying that amount of money I expect to get what I pay for. Am I full? Yes. But I filled up on rice and guac. It is terrible what this chain does to people. Spending their hard earned money on the little amount of food they are getting. It is not the employees fault because its the upper management that tells them how much to serve. For how much they make in a year do the right thing and make that 10billion dollars worth it to the customer too. 20 dollars for rice is just insane. Maybe my 20 dollars wont hurt their pockets but I will never go out of my way to order from any...
