NO RESTROOMS.
This location was recently remodeled to be a "grab and go" location, removing all tables. This means they can get away with having NO public restroom, even though the location previously had tables and restrooms.
When I'm on a road trip, I'll stop at Sbux instead of a local coffee shop because of the ease and the predictability of having a (usually) clean restroom.
It is incredibly frustrating to discover after stopping, that there isn't a restroom available.
Furthermore, okay, I get that Sbux supports "gay rights" and "trans rights." Some locations are more in-your-face about their politics than others. This location was over the top with their "advocacy." Dude. You're in Lancaster County. It's no longer June. Maybe tone it down a bit and be a bit more culturally sensitive to the people in your local community.
Okay, whatever. But what was actually offensive was a small poster on the wall about "Disability Pride Month." I'm not sure which is worse -- to denigrate people with disabilities to nothing more than a "pride month" activism poster? Or implying that being gay is a disability?
Sooo... My rating? minus 2 stars for no bathroom minus 1 star for the over-politicization of a coffee shop
But the staff was friendly and the coffee was predictable, so the store...
Read moreWe have been coming to this Starbucks location almost daily for 15 years. Rachel is the best and the most courteous however today prompted me to leave a less than positive review because other baristas are not so nice- many visits of sarcastic remarks about confirming decaf (we Often get regular by mistake). The parking lot was a mess today, the drive-through wraps around blocking all traffic so I entered the store and told the barista at the register at 9:29 AM that they are busy and parking was a challenge. She was very snotty saying “there’s nothing I can do about the parking lot”. she needs better customer service training. At very minimum she could be courteous or conversational and instead of having an unfriendly tone. The manager walked in a minute later to give Rachel a 10 year award well-deserved for her- congratulations! Manager needs to make sure his other barista‘s are as courteous. My visits will definitely decrease Since I don’t know what kind of attitude baristas other than Rachel will provide. Haven’t had good luck with this...
Read moreHello. I came to the establishment around 7:35 PM and pulled into the drive-through that was very well lit. As I went to say my order, no one responded back. Then I realize when I put up to the drive-through window that the sign said that you close at 8 PM, but inside was completely dark. The store was obviously closed early as I arrived at 7:35 PM. All the lights are on in the drive-through, but inside the store was completely dark. I understand that emergencies happen however, professionalism and job requirements should be taken very seriously from the manager on duty, a quick note would be feasible, but that was not done, and I left a very upset. Again emergencies happen and I know in the United States of America we are dealing with staffing issues however, a quick note saying we are closed early would do the job. Instead I left without my order and I went to Dunkin’ Donuts up the block where I actually was greeted at the drive-through when I When I said my order. Unfortunately, they did not have the medicine ball drink that I was...
