Chipotle is one of my favorite restaurants. I’ve been looking forward to the opening at this location since it’s very close to my house. Today is the grand opening and I understand there might still need training for the employees to improve the service on the first day. I noticed an additional charge of side of $1.50 on the receipt, so I asked the cashier about it. She insisted that we ordered an extra side of white rice which we didn’t. I pulled out everything from the bag and asked her to check all the items, she got someone else out to help us. I think it’s the store manager, she approached us to see if we have an issue, I explained everything to her again, and she said she pulled out the camera and saw we did order a side of white rice, and asked if we did not get the white rice. I told her we both ordered brown rice with our bowls and we didn’t order white rice at all. Then she helped us with the refund. $1.50 is a small amount, but I think honesty is more important because we never ordered white rice. I don’t know where they got that from. I did ask about having a side of a vinegarret, but I didn’t get it because it’s 50 cents more while I typically get it for free at other locations. I really do enjoy Chipotle and I’m hoping the service manner can be improved; maybe just by simply admitting your own mistakes but not blaming...
Read moreI didn't check the reviews for this place before I ordered. Lesson learned. It's overpriced mediocre food at best. I bought chips and salsa, guacamole, 6 tacos and one soda and it was over $50. If it had been good food, I wouldn't feel so disgusted with my purchase. The guacamole was already dark green all the way through, the chips weren't crispy, the little salsa cups half full. The tacos were ok. I was ignored for several minutes tho I was the only person in there. Then he only talked to me to say they weren't taking more orders today(like mid-afternoonish). But I had already paid and he found my order. I had to go back in and ask for my drink cup and I was planning to get the watermelon lemonade or like that but the dispenser on all the options looked nasty dirty so I chose Coke Zero and was glad it didn't taste like mold. Read moreOur daughter wanted to go to Chipotle for her last night at home before heading back to college. This location has very little parking out front. 6 or so spaces for pickup and 4 or 6 Handicap spots, not to many for dine in. Upon entering, spilled food all over the floor, tables with food all over them. Not so impressive for being a new location. The service was ok, at 5:15 p.m., out of chicken 10 min wait for that, the serving table had so much food on it and was not being wiped off that it was making it hard for the guy building the burritos to slide the foil wrapping down the line. At the register, it looked like someone spilled a entire burrito bowl all over the counter and there was no urgency to get that wiped off. Totally grossed out. I did however see an employee enjoying a heaping bowl of food, which would of probably cost me $50.00 for as much food that was piled on top of that...
