Charlie's Best Burgers — Restaurant in East Los Angeles

The service was bad, really bad. The staff continued to fulfill orders to about 3 vehicles behind us (mind you we are in the drive thru and these are not small orders since you can visually see them carry the food to them) and as we drove up to the front where we continued to wait we were then asked what we were waiting for? in a tone that seemed as if we were being a bother. After we repeated our order they said it still needed some time, we continued to wait and finally recieved our order without any sort of "thank you for your patience, etc." The whole drive thru experience took anywhere from 20 - 25 minutes.

I'm definitely not complaining about the food, the food tasted amazing, the chicken in the wet burrito was well seasoned and the green salsa on it tasted fresh and zesty. The ranch was out of this world and If i needed a tasty thick ranch in my life I would probably endure the terrible service for it and pay the 50cents per container and return to this joint. It should be free, especially when two items on the menu (one combo only) cost nearly $30.

I'm not mad about how much I paid or how long I waited because the food was amazing, shout out to the kitchen staff. I'm unhappy about how the drive thru attendants handled the drive thru, and they are the reason I probably won't come back and if I do give them another chance, I hope its a different...

We walked in and sat inside near back door. It was quiet, clean, Best Burger Ever!!! Four of us got a loaded Hamburger, delicious French Fries and a Peanut Butter Shake. The order was all finished quickly and at the same time. Hot was hot, and Cold was cold. They even gave us a serving of hot Chile peppers. It is well worth the price and was one of the freshest and tastiest Burgers that I have eaten in the LA area. The owner and the workers were all young and friendly. Their hands and clothing looked squeaky clean. The pictures on the wall were of some famous artists from the local area. I need to go back NOW. My mouth is watering Right NOW. Even the straws were perfect. I even had to take my large straw with a wide opening home with me! The owner asked me if I needed another one, but I didn't want to appear greedy, so I answered with a no, thank you. I can't wait to return and try the Mexican side of the MENU. Charlie's is awesome that's all I can say, you may ask why and I'll tell you because I normally order the Big Fat Charlie burger, so one time that I visited and placed my order recived my order and started eating unfortunately half way through my burger I realized that my burger only had 1 meat instead of 2 so I went to inquire about what could be done and one of the employees was trying to get the manager but it was crazy busy when the owner showed up and asked me if I needed help I told him my plight the owner then stated that he would immediately get the manager to take care of me and then proceed to apologize for the error in my order. The owner took about 7 minutes and came back out and started to apologize for taking so long and handed me about 8 cards for free Cheese burger combo aside from all the food is very good every single time that I go and eat...
