Dave's Deli & Catering — Restaurant in East Los Angeles

I decided to try out Dave's Deli & Catering it's located a block away from the East L..A. courthouse and also the Metro Gold line in East L.A... I was very curious about Dave's Deli my wife and I went to have lunch at Juan's Rotisserie Pollo it's next door. They have the menu on the windows showing what of kind of hot and cold sandwich including salads and other items they make in the restaurant.

They everything they made is fresh and made to order and also they high quality meats from Boar's Head one of my favorite Deli meats. I decided to order the turkey Sandwich with provolone cheese with everything including Persian cucumber. I got my sandwich then I took it home when I arrived I took a bite of my sandwich it took really good I really enjoy the turkey meat was really high quality turkey meat with good flavors and bread was soft and airy with other ingredients like the provolone cheese,lettuce,tomatoes and Persian cucumber were very delicious by the way I order the large it's big. Hadn't been there in about a year, finally got the chance to go today. I loved the subs. WELL, today has thrown me for a loop. The owner took our order: He was in a SUPER terrible mood, demanded our order, No smile no "welcome" , nothing ! Made us feel as if we were intruding. Soooo, I observed his behavior with the rest of the customers.....THE SAME BAD MOOD ! Well, if you don't want to serve your customers you should close down the business. I always buy their pastrami sandwiches after I go to the Roybal health clinic for my Dr's appt or pickup a prescription. Today I called them and asked if they'd wait until I get there because I was running late (They close at 3pm Monday thru Friday and I travel by METRO rail). I told them I wanted to buy their pastrami sandwiches so they put my order thru and said they would wait for me. I arrived with ten minutes to spare. The sandwiches were waiting for me.
