Been eating here with my family since I was a kid. It can be an acquired taste for some. The chili cheese fries and bean and cheese bureeto are my favorite dishes. When I get the chili cheese fries I tell them to add extra cheese on the bottom of the fries... It makes a big difference. Then I add banana pepper juice on top for extra spice 👌🏼. TRY It! They are not stingy about the portion size. I usually have left overs. 🍟 The bean and cheese bureeto is good with extra cheese, and tell them to add green salsa. 🤤🌯 The hot dog can be a bit dry, Buuuut I like to add banana pepper juice to the hot dog and eat it with fries 🌭🍟. The tacos in my opinion are not good. I avoid them at all cost. The cooks have been working there for years. They're veterans in my opinion. They memorize your orders. They don't write them down. They never got it wrong. My family specifically would eat in then pay after. There is one cook however that was new, an older short lady who was just not getting it. She would mess up all the orders. I'm not sure if she still works there 🤷🏻‍♀️ Warning It can be pricy. Give this place a try. It's a local. You either like it or you don't. But try it! 👍🏼

I’m so sad. This place was my favorite place since I was a kid. So that sets you up for my review. In all my years I have always supported this establishment but today I got profiled. The lady that 99% of time the time that serves me stuck it to me on a breakfast sandwich combo. She charged $14 +$3 (for extra meat) + $1 (for thousand island dressing) for a breakfast sandwich that is priced on their window for $6.99 as a Special. I figured since I paid so much I would get a refill like I always have for free or for 50 cents. Wrong. She charged me 75 cents. I gave her a dollar. I told her to keep the change. I was surprised to get charged that much but I followed thru and kept my end of the bargain. I felt robbed because the person who made the sale assumed I had money. I don’t. I just loved this place. So beware and don’t go in a nice car or speak English because they will assume you have money and charge you accordingly. I felt like a tourist in my own city of East LA. This was my last time eating here. It was nice thinking this was a place for everyone. It’s just another place where the town locals get favored and the rest get victimized. #saynoto1stburgers

went to get burgers like i always have and this new lady doesnt know what she is doing. she took my order wrong and when i went back she was like” i heard wrong and didnt get your order correct”… when i asked for my order correct she was like “you have to pay more”… why if she was the incorrect one she was like “i know i messed up but you have to pay more and i cant fix yourorder”… when i placed the order i even pointed to the picture they have outside the order window and she still took it wrong….i aksed for the owner/supervisor and they told me he was Samuel and to go back the next day to “see if this can be fixed”…. really new lady needs to learn how to listen and not just hear…. this place has been here for decades and this is the first time something like this has happend

This really sucks because the food is excellent but I have to tell ya it seems that the ol discrimination monster has been poking around... The last thing I am is a racist but I recognize when it's in the game. My white bread buddy and myself walked up to the window to place our order after watching about 4 groups of the Spanish speaking origin ordering and receiving their orders timely and with a smile..We stood there for over 10 minutes being looked at but not spoken to but knew we were being talked about amongst themselves in the kitchen..I had @$140 order to place but after feeling disrespected we walked away...We will never return and will tell everyone that we know about our experience...If management knows about this and hasn't done anything you suck and if management is just finding out you really should reevaluate your crew.. Money is Money regardless who is handing it to you hopefully the day never comes when you aren't...
