La Azteca is still one of our favorite burrito places. They moved from their original location. Love their tortilla!!! It reminds me of Taiwanese breakfast egg wrap (dan bing). They also sell their tortillas here. I'm a big fan of their nopales (cactus) and egg burrito. They are popular for the burritos....cleaner or fresher and simple ingredients? NOPALE'S & EGG Burrito $10. cactus.grilled.tomato.onion.cilantro,refried beans - they can make it without eggs (make it vegan). Or my favorite is only without beans due dietary issues with it. Not a problem for them. The SO loves their Asada Burrito. He said Chorizo is okay and felt like baby food in texture. Red and Green sauce. Both are super spicy. Medium spicy lovers will like it. Mild spicy will have to up our game or use your own home sauce. We loved their previous location at Cesar Chavez due to walkable convenience. It was also around the street of bakeries, and nice stroll around the block. Both their old and new location has difficult parking. This new location at least has a parking lot for them, and more indoor seating.

This is my second time at this restaurant. Their service is great. Really nice lady at the cash register. However, when it comes to their food. I will totally recommend the ranchero burrito has everything and taste great, but not the chicken burrito I wouldnt suggest that. Horchata was a little bland but not over sugar which is great. I didn't ate at the restaurant I took it to go due to time, but it's clean inside and there is parking for your convenience.

I'm not trying to be a negative critic. Yet here's another bad idea of mixing a chile relleno with a burrito? . NOPE not good at ALL the al pastor meat no taste. It's really not a chile relleno because at least my burr. Had no cheese. The burrito was so small for the price. I'm trying to save yall a trip and money. BTW, worst service ever. A dude with glasses rude and just a robot. The gal Samantha rude noneye contact and just simply rude....

I’ve been coming here for years and even got my whole family hooked. The new location was a huge disappointment. The cashier didn’t ask what meat I wanted, didn’t give me a receipt, and when we got our burritos one was missing which is fine mistakes happen. Went back and asked, the guy was courteous and handed me the second one. When we left and finally got to bite into our burritos there was no meat at all. I paid for a chile relleno with meat and got everything but. The girl at the register was also disengaging and lacks customer service skills.

Really frustrating and such a...

Not the Original, they just kept the name when they took over .. it used to be Authentic Tortilleria with some hot food items...the flour and corn tortillas used to be hand patted, no press was used. It makes a difference ...they Don't do it like that any more, now they use a press...Now it's like a Hipster joint compared to what it used to be...,I don't understand how the Chicharron burrito is dry Chicharron in the burrito, not even cooked!! And how they say the have all these awards for best burrito is beyond me. LA Carreta next door has way better...
