Tom's Burgers is a bucket list for those who have not tried this neighborhood gem and staple of East L.A. restaurants. I grew up blocks from here on Eastman Ave. and still live in the area and I remember the old crew who worked there. Tonio is the only remaining cook from that old crew and he still remembers me being taken their as a baby. He knew my whole family cause we all grew up on Tom's Burgers. There was no other burger place like it back in the day so it was and still is the spot for good tasting, quality food anyone can afford. My recommendation for first timers has to be hands down a Pastrami and Chili Cheese fries. They are to die for. Chili Tamale is the best. So are the burgers, hot dog, breakfast, heck just order anything from the menu and you'll see what myself and many loyal fans of Tom's Burgers have been raving about on our review posts. So when driving thru East L.A. or visiting East L.A. and your in the mood for some good and I mean good quality tasting food, look no further but to Tom's Burgers to satisfy those cravings. Thanks for the memories and I look forward...

I can walk there or...

At a little over $5 with tax the breakfast sandwich (bacon, lettuce, tomato, egg) here was totally worth it. Savory, crunchy, not at all greasy. I definitely plan to come back for some more in the future.
As for parking and seating, lots of street and I believe some lot space and a number of benches/tables. Not huge, it might be full at peak times, so be prepared to wait. Monday at...
