My mom brought us here every time she had the chance too so we can eat gorditas de carnitas. Which is my to go to dish from here. The salsa isn’t spicy at all… but I would recommend getting jalapeños but they do charge 0.75 or probably a $1 (my mom says back in the day they used to give them out but people wouldn’t eat them and it was a waste) my son had tacos de asada and he ate it all. Obviously they have other dishes. But my family has always gone for the gorditas only. Oh and if you bring your toddler I would recommend bringing your stroller to sit them so they can eat. (Obviously a small stroller) They don’t have child seats. If you do bring in your stroller sit all the way in the back where no one will be asking you constantly to move so they can get through. 10/10 Highly Recommend This Place! P.S you can pay with tap. So if you have a iPhone and you forget your wallet at home (like I did 🤭) you can pay with your phone (Tap). EDIT: they actually do have child seats.

Mexican food is good but it depends who's in the kitchen. I ordered 3 gorditas. Unfortunately it was nasty. Yes the tortilla is handmade but the meat is tasteless. The chicken was extremely salty. They just put beans and lettuce so the food is just bland. I came so excited for this place but I'm leaving disappointed. The chicarron and barbacoa absolutely no taste, just salty beans. I'll stick to the Barbacha for their bomb gorditas.

We drive all the way from LB to eat the roja y verde gorditas. Sure, the service sometimes could use improvement but you have to understand they are feeding hundreds and like anyone one would get flustered dealing with all that. Overall, the service is fast and the gorditas are bomb. Whatever they are doing don't change it.

I would not eat there. Some of the customers are rude. I really enjoyed the taste of their Buche is the best in all of East Los Angeles and Los Angeles. They are nice to cut it into strip. I bring it and enjoy it at my home. The last two times they have NOT cut it into strips. I reminded the lady at the register she waived as if annoyed and understanding. My hands hurt that is why I continue to purchase there. They didn't so I wouldn't be buying it from them. I have found a place that is just as delicious but at half the price, better customer service, and their customers nicer. El Sabroso by the Guadalupe church, near...

Looking for some delicious Gorditas? Fresh Carnitas? Look no further! Gorditas are made fresh daily. The meats, specifically Carnitas, are fresh. Growing up I knew Carnitas to be brown. These are pink which I found out that's how they are when they are freshly made.

I ate two of them around ten thirty and didn't eat until dinner at six thirty. I did enjoy half a litre of Coke. It can get busy. The gorditas are very popular here.

A real treat when I have time off of work to come here with wife and have a Coke with a gordita de...
