Charlie's Restaurant — Restaurant in East Orange

I ordered from Charlie’s for the first time today. I got the corn beef & hash, w/ grits, turkey bacon, scrambled eggs, and wheat toast. The corn beef & hash was extremely disappointing. The Turkey bacon was undercooked (still good though). I told the lady I wanted my eggs fried hard and they gave me fried hard-scrambled eggs lol. The grits tasted as expected, except I didn’t ask for butter in my grits. The best part of the whole experience was the price. For all of the things that I got, to pay $9.50 was an extreme bargain. This restaurant is known more as a breakfast spot. They have a decent selection. The breakfast here is good and pretty affordable opposed to a lot of other places. Honestly, that's why I particular like going here. The food is good and not outrageously priced. All and all, I feel the food is done well here.
