Michael's Italian Feast — Restaurant in East Peoria

Love the food but.....I called in a order for pick up 2 different times a week apart. The first one, 5 bread & pasta with butter, at pick up - butter was not their homemade , asked to buy but was told its only for catering. Recent order, 10 bread & pasta, was told they will give me a tub of homemade butter for free because of the 10 bread order( Which I verified before ordering). At pick up, Emily told me that they needed to charge me for the butter per his manager Dominic . I wish I was informed prior and or before pick up of the change. When I opened the 10 loaf of bread after a 6 minutes drive, it was warm but was all put together in one paper bag and half was flattened. So...

I no longer even live in Illinois. But I always make it a point to go to a Michael's and get some subs, garlic bread, and some of their amazing cinnamon bread. You just don't find the bread density and sweetness anywhere else. That combined with pretty decent ingredients. Makes for something that I always seek every single time I make my way into Illinois again. Good deals and decent prices also definitely help. Came and ordered family feast here, asked for butter with my loaf of bread I ordered and she said I had to pay for butter. I said butter doesn't come with the bread I ordered? She said no I'm sorry, so I had to pay 1.07 for 2 small containers of butter enough for 1 peice of bread. Never heard of not getting butter with your bread at avantis or lagondola or let alone having to pay extra for it. I can see if I didn't order a leaf of bread but I would think butter would come...
