Dante's Italian Bistro & Pastry — Restaurant in East Pikeland Township

If you're looking for an authentic Italian restaurant, Dante's is a must. I've gotten take out before, but today was the first time dining in. Let's start with the atmosphere. We were immediately greated at the front by the owner. When you enter, the front is a small Italian bakery and you are literally going behind the counter to a small, cozy dining area with music playing. No fancy napkins, table cloths, etc. Just a simple, relaxing set up.

On to the food, I ordered Dante's Inferno which is homemade pasta, with sausage & peppers. The portion was like going to grandma's house and the taste was out of this world. A little bit of spice and a ton of flavor. Sauce was thick and rich, but everything went down so smooth. I couldn't stop eating until the fork was scraping the dish. My wife and daughter decided to not order Italian for so.e reason and went with wings and cheese fries. They were very satisfied, but I can only comment based on what I tried. The cheese sauce for the fries was homemade and they gave us so much we could take some home. I was so full, but dipped a few fries in and it was amazing. I also dipped one of my daughter's wings in it and it was fire. I can't do it justice by saying anything other than you gotta try it.

We were too full for desert, but had to order some to go. We got Cookies & Cream cake, Chocolate cake w Jimmies and Rum Cake Cannoli. When we got home we all decided to sample. My daughter housed the Chocolate cake and we all tried the Cannoli which was heavenly!!!!

Finally, cost and people. Cost was under $70 for everything which is insane. The people were amazing. The father was attentive and very polite. He made us feel like we were part of the family. The son was cooking and stopped out a few times to check on us. He was equally as polite as the father and just wanted to make sure our experience was good.

Please, please, please support this family business. They are a hidden gem whether you want food for a football game or want to sit down for a superb...

We came here for our anniversary as our kids were just down the street for a couple hours. After the reviews it seemed like a place worth visiting. The sauce was delicious. Like so good. It came with our garlic knots, and with our Arancini balls. And then I got the ravioli with bacon vodka sauce, it tasted similar with the smoky of the bacon. The sausage in the dish was my favorite part and not even mentioned in the description of my meal. Knowing this I would come back for a dish that has more of the sausage. It was so good. The cannolis were the best I have ever had. The service was great and very friendly. You can tell the owners are passionate people. My husband and I are not fancy people and don’t prefer a fancy place so this was right up our alley. A hidden gem as many have said. I will say I don’t love fluorescent lighting, which is more towards the front of the restaurant. Some drop lighting would make a big impact on the feel of the dining room. My only criticism. We will definitely be back. Dine in or take out. We will be in the area next weekend and I am already dreaming of what my take out...

I recently had the pleasure of trying carry out at Dante's and was blown away by the quality of the food. We ordered the shrimp scampi, which was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The pizza was simply amazing - crispy crust, flavorful sauce, and generous toppings. The special pasta with sausage was also a standout dish, with a rich and savory sauce.

But the true highlight of the meal was the dessert. The cannoli was one of the best I've ever had, with a light and crispy shell. And the pastries - oh my! - were absolutely heavenly. I couldn't resist trying several of them, haha!

The service at Dante's was also fantastic. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive.

All in all, Dante's bistro is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates excellent food and exceptional service. I can't recommend it...
