I"ve gotten cheesesteak and pizza there which was good, not great but good. However on a Monday when I was short on cash, I ordered a large cheese pizza which a Monday special for $7.50, no problems there. Also ordered a cheesesteak which on the menu stated the price was $9.50. So I figured the total would not be more than $20 even with the tax included. $18.02 to be exact. To my surprise, it was rang up to a total of $23.30! FIVE dollars more than I expected. I mention to the nice young girl and she said it was $11'95. She called her boss (owner?) over and said it stated $9.50 in the menu. He came over and shout it was $11.95 and the menu was wrong. He pointed at the menu board and again said $11.95, however the on the menu board it was $9.50. He also said prices as gone up. So I had to use a credit card on which he charged a 3% fee, as I did not have enough cash on me, only a $20 dollar bill. He should of had a sign stating the prices in the menu and online were not correct. The next day, the Tuesday"s special is $7.50 for a cheesesteak, at least thats what the menu and online stated. If I have to ask what the price is, I guess I can't afford...
Read moreWe were visiting from TX for a lacrosse tournament. We happened upon this gem by accident. Everything we had(& with 3 teenaged boys we ordered a lot of different menu items) was truly spectacular. My husband had the gnocchi with Vodka sauce and shrimp, I had the linguine with white clam sauce, and my oldest had shrimp scampi. All of the dishes were artfully prepared and tasted superb. My other 2 boys ordered a variety of appetizers including the tasty stuffed mushrooms, fries and garlic breads. As well as a stuffed crust cheese pizza which of course he said was the best stuffed crust pizza. We also ordered a pepperoni pizza which my son almost demolished in his own. Here’s the kicker-the prices! They are so reasonable! The owners, George and his sweet wife even came out to chat and welcome us- such hospitality. We were able to thank one of the amazing chefs, and everyone seemed anxious to make us feel at home. I wish we didn’t live so far away, but definitely feel lucky we were able to experience Rocco’s...
Read moreHave been reading great reviews for years and finally went for dinner. The place is spotless, everyone working there was friendly and welcoming. While waiting we tried a slice of white pizza. Crispy crust- and perfect with some garlic salt, oregano and pepper flakes. The portions are large, they use local fresh produce and our salads were super fresh. I order eggplant parm with a side of rigatoni and Les got spaghetti with meatballs and sausage. As I said portions are large ! The side of pasta was huge- what you get as an entree at other places! Eggplant was in a seperate baking dish - I love when my food comes out hot - they do it right - my pasta I packed up to go was still hot after enjoying leisurely dining. Sauce was flavorful, also enjoyed the garlic bread that accompanied entrees. Les enjoyed his as well. When we went to pay - they said no charge for the pizza ! That was so nice! Enjoyed getting to speak with everyone working- so nice & friendly ! We...
