What I say in 2012: Still one of the best BBQ's I have had! A little heavy on the dry rub, but none-the-less, still VERY GOOD RIBS!

What I said in 2010: Very Good BBQ! A good solid 9 to 9.5 out of 10. Noticing my 'northern' accent, the girl taking orders knew I wasn't a local (LOL). She took the time to explain key info on their products, such as available sides, combos, etc... I got a 1/2 rack and thoroughly enjoyed it. The 1/2 rack I got was clearly enough for 2 people! Choo Choo's ribs were the best ribs I have had in a while. They were also the biggest and meatiest spare rib I have ever seen. The meat was moist and tender. Choo Choo's sauce was very good for an independent shop too. Yes, take-out only, but while you wait for your order you can watch them tending to the huge smoker out behind their store. Great little drive-through and walk-up barbecue stand in East Ridge. The staff was friendly. Service was slow at 5:45 on a Friday night because they were hoppin'.

Pulled pork sandwich with slaw: Very moist, soft meat with a mild smoky flavor. Bun was plain white bread and a little soggy, but not bad.

Fried pickles: Straight up the best fried pickles I've ever had. Hot and juicy inside, crispy outside.

Fried okra: Batter was salty but delicious. Okra was plump and juicy.

Banana pudding: Pudding itself was nondescript, with whipped topping and a heavy dash of nutmeg--really liked the nutmeg. Whole and crumbled wafers were crispy, not soggy.

Very poor Customer service. I asked for a chili dog with only chili and cheese and I got a hotdog with chili and slaw. I was told I had to take the product back with the receipt, so I called back and asked if there was an email I could send a picture and the receipt to, because I work and I cannot go back today to replace it. So I was told that there was no email to send it to and I would literally have to let the product sit over night and take it back tomorrow with receipt for it to be remade! That is the most awful customer service...
