Rockafellas Sports Bar Gr — Restaurant in East Rutherford

Rockafellas Sports Bar, located at the fork of Paterson Avenue and Hoboken Road in East Rutherford, is perhaps the only bar that applies to the classic Yogi Berraism "When you see a fork in the road, take it". In either case, whichever way you go, you'll find it. Rockafellas is one of those places that one would like right away. Jess the daytime bartender is a treasure, and one of those magnetic personalities that keeps people wanting to stay. They have a fine selection of tap beers at reasonable prices, great food from the grill, my favorite being their cheese steaks. On the upper side in back, there is pool table and tables for eating on. They also have outside tables for enjoying your food upon in good weather. The crowd there is a friendly and fun loving crowd. I have been going to rockafellas for over 10 years always a fun crowd always bump into someone you know, friendly atmosphere reasonably priced drinks and very good food open till 2 a. M. On Fridays and Saturdays usually close up shop by midnight on weekdays. There's a few bars in the area and rockafellas is definitely one of the more upbeat bars they have a jukebox that you can put money in and request songs to play that have a pool table, a men's room women's room restroom and an outside patio they're located conveniently in downtown east Rutherford on the Carlstadt Wallington border on Hoboken Road and Patterson Avenue if you haven't checked out rockafellas Bar and Grill Lounge definitely give it a try they usually have $5 shots which is pretty reasonable. I generally love this place. I come here usually to cap the night because of the relaxed atmosphere and usually affordable drinks. Tonight I came in with two friends, and I believe the bartenders thought we were drunk, they proceeded to treat us as such, and tried to over charge us, adding extra drinks to our tab, as well as extra bogus fees. I was appalled with the final bill, and questioned them on it. They were clueless of the actual validity and what was real on the bill themselves, so they proceeded to grab some random amount of cash and place it in my hand and tried to be done with it.

A WILD example of a bar trying to take advantage of its clientele. I legitimately could not believe what was happening, and a clear illegal overcharge.
