One Star is Generous!!! Summary - DISGUSTING (but not the food)!
I rarely write a negative review unless the experience is over-the-top bad, and my visit today (Dec 6, 18) at this Wendy's warrants it.
Speed of Service: The drive-thru operation was beyond frustrating. Keven and Elaine perhaps have a poor system. At a busy lunch hour, I arrived the 8th vehicle in line. Not an issue at most other establishments - the Taco Bell across the street had at least as long a line, and moved along quickly. My wait from arrival to food-in-hand was 21 minutes. No exaggeration - I have NEVER waited so long in a drive-thru. They took one order, the driver pulled forward, the driver paid, moved to the next window to wait for his/her food, took the food and drove away. Then they took the next vehicle's order...repeated that flow. They never had more than a single order in progress. This pattern repeated eight times, averaging three minutes per vehicle. That is entirely unacceptable for a drive-thru, even if every driver made a special request.
Pricing Discrepancy & Service: The drive-thru menu offers #9 - Grilled Chicken Sandwich + fries + beverage, priced $5.59 reg and $7.79 lg. I ordered the regular size, and $7.79 displayed on the order confirmation screen. I repeated that I wanted the regular size, $5.59, and Keven confirmed that was the order-size he placed. I mentioned that the menu showed a price of $5.59, and he said no, it's $7.79. I changed my order to the large meal, and the price remained $7.79. Upon pulling to the pay-window, I let Keven know that the menu shows two sizes, at two different prices. I suggested if that's not what they truly sell, they should fix the menu. He stood there with a big smile and said nothing. I asked him if he could respond, and he said, "I don't know, I've been here three weeks." I then suggested he inform the manager, and again he had no response - just the...for lack of a better description...big, stupid smile.
When I arrived home, the grilled chicken value meal had the regular/small size of fries, which at that point, wasn't even disappointing compared to the service experience. They've lost my business. I will be sharing directly with Wendy's and posting in social...
Read moreDrive through was normal was asked to pull up and wait a few minutes for my order. After waiting almost 20 mins and seeing multiple cars leaving from the drive thru lane, I decided to go in and ask for my order. Went up to the pickup counter, and a few of the workers looked at me and kept working, no customer interaction, no professionalism, no respect for one another for bickering amongst themselves, still waiting for any acknowledgment that I was clearly there for a reason. Lady came from out back and asked if she could help me, and I said, "Yes, I was told to pull up for an order I made a while ago. Lady asked another employee who clearly had an attitude problem snickered at her coworker and told her the order was there. She asked her politely where, and she snapped at her, grabbed the bags, and shoved them on top of the counter and said there. She grabbed the bags off the counter, turned to me, and said that she's sorry for the wait. Then, I asked if I could look at the order to make sure it's correct. I checked in the bag, and there was one oder complete, and then the other bag had another oder with an extra sandwich that I didn't order. I then asked if that was someone else's order, then the lady with the attitude problem told the cashier that they don't take back food. I said even if you don't take back food, that's not answering my question. The cashier said just take the order. She's pretty sure that it's the correct one. That a second sandwich was mistakenly added. In my mind, I wanted to challenge this and take names, but I was all ready too tired just standing there, feeling all the negativity and all the anomosity that was happening behind the counter. No professionalism nor customer...
Read morelol whoever this elderly lady was in the drive through @ 1:11a.m on 9/13/24 is very disrespectful and lacks professionalism. I came from work ; post a 16 hour shift saving lives and was starving . Only for this rude woman to show a whole face of annoyance when unlocking my phone to use Apple Pay . Then blurting out the sentence ‘ITS CLOSING TIME PEOPLE’ with an eye roll . Excuse me ? It’s only 1:11 a.m This is how yall treat customers ? In not sure if that was the manager because she wore a striped red and white Wendy’s shirt but if she happens to be the manager then SHAME ON YOU GUYS . Yall just employ anybody at this point
Firstly , absolutely nobody outside the franchise set closing time to 2AM . Secondly , Absolutely nobody forced you to work until closing darling . Be mad at YOURSELF . Thirdly , I’m sorry that your career happens to be a Wendy’s employee . And I say that because your whole demeanor expressed tonight says that you dislike your job . Once again , be mad at Yourself ! Not happy , hardworking customers that come to enjoy a great meal .
With that being said , I will never get food at this Wendy’s ever again . I will drive a lot further for another one in mornings like these . Thankfully , can’t no miserable soul make me have...
